Initially, I received a defective product. It couldn't retain the temperature properly, and the hot water became cold within about 4 hours, so I requested a replacement. The replacement product is completely different and works perfectly. It keeps water hot for around **48 hours**, just as claimed. The outer plastic body is good, and the insulation performance is excellent. One thing to keep in mind is that the inner insulated bottle is made of **glass**, so it should be handled carefully to avoid breakage. Apart from that, I am very happy with the replacement and its performance. If you receive a defective piece, I recommend requesting a replacement instead of returning it immediately.

Excellent quality flask! I bought this Milton flask from Amazon, and I'm very happy with it. It keeps my drinks hot for about 8–9 hours.

Mentioned it fails to retain temperature I bought the Milton Eiffel 1000 for my daily commute. The build, strap, lid and seals are all well made and it’s leakproof — no visible damage or defects. However, it fails to retain temperature: hot water cools to lukewarm within a few hours and cold drinks warm up noticeably sooner than other vacuum flasks I’ve used. If long-term insulation (6+ hours) is important, this unit didn’t meet my expectations. Good design and portability, but consider alternatives or contact Milton support/warranty for a replacement.

The product itself is very good in keeping the temperature both cold and hot but the inside of the bottle is coated with brittle glass I keep the bottle near my bed in the floor i accidentally hit the bottle and it fell and the inside of the bottle broke I didn't fill it with too hot water or cold If you can use it carefully it is a god product

Moment I received it, I boiled a water and filled it. on every interval of 6 hours I checked it and found the water hot.. it's been 24 hours and the water was still hot. I am convinced. Let's see for how long will it does it's work. Thanks Milton for low cost and high values.
