Will this work on drywall and do you have to prime the surface beforehand?

Yes to both questions. The drywall surface must be as smooth as possible and has to be completely sealed/primed with a good quality primer and/or paint. Otherwise, the drywall will just soak up the dry erase paint.

Can you add color to this by adding regular paint?

Hi there - we wouldn't recommend that because it will dilute this specialty paint, and adversely affect its dry erase functionality. What we would suggest is ordering the clear paint instead. You can paint your wall whatever color you desire, and then coat it with the clear dry erase paint!

Will it work on a wall inside the house that has a little texture to it?

The wall should be as smooth as possible. Texture may compromise (a) the ability to get an even application of the paint, and (2) make for an unpleasant, bumpy writing experience.

can this product be used on mirrors?

Hey! as a user of this product, i would think it would make the mirror blurry. Mirror already are dry erase ready though. Is there a reason you want to paint this over it?

Great Stuff.

This is the best whiteboard paint available. I've used this and Ideapaint. Ideapaint is really good, but it requires lots (at least three) of coats to work properly. ThinkOutLoud works with just one coat. In the future I will use Whiteyboard's ThinkOutLoud for all my whiteboard paint projects.
