Too heavy = greasy hair
I've been using Verb's Ghost Oil since it came out for a nice leave in for my easily tangled and damaged hair. I thought this would be a good alternative at a cheaper price. But the difference is huge. While Verb is light, this starts out light but feels heavy on. Even when just using a few drops on my hands to scrunch it in, it still weighed my hair down. The weight and subsequent greasy feel was most noticeable about two hours after styling it. For me, this was just beyond annoying. My hair is troublesome already, but having it feel greasy and thus dirty is not acceptable. I did keep this and do use it for deep conditioning on days after swimming in chlorine: I wash the chlorine out, put this in, and put it in a bun. But as soon as possible, I wash out the oil as it's just for a sort of intense condition than regular use so I don't mind the extra greasy feeling then.

Too much for fine hair
Since I've moved to this new climate, I have had a different experience with my hair. It seems to frizz far more than it used to. It also doesn't retain moisture as well. I use a thickening shampoo, so the most moisture I get is from my conditioner and anything added in. I've been trying different sprays to add in that bit. I've also been trying different things to bring in some more life. Because of this, I have decided to try as much as I can. My favorite of the HairRx is the Surf Spray. It gives me some texture and still adds in a bit of moisture. I'll just have to make sure that I deep condition every once in a while. The second favorite was the revive and protect mist. This is a great detangler and adds moisture. It does not weigh me down and does not leave an oily residue. The oil, of course, adds shine but is too much for my fine hair. It would be better on someone with thicker hair than mine. I wasn't really impressed with the volume spray. I didn't see any particular results with that one, which was disappointing.

Not bad if hair is dry & frizzy
This isn't a bad hair oil at all. The scent is pleasant (floral is the best way to describe it) and not super strong, the oil works to tame frizzies, and hair is soft and manageable. Trouble comes in with application. The bottle doesn't dispense the product as a spray but rather a steady stream. If you try to apply directly to your hair instead of putting the product in your palms first, you will end up with a greasy, nasty mess. If you try to use more than a teeny amount and you have anything less than a massive head of thick hair, you will end up with a greasy, nasty mess. I have fine hair that likes to do its own thing when it's humid or can be static-y and flyaways galore if it's too dry in the house in cold weather. I've used anti-frizz products before but I don't like the silicone most products use and some hair oil smoothing products can be as heavy as those with silicone. As long as you don't use a heavy hand with this product, it can work well. Start with just a couple of drops and try it on both damp hair and dry hair to see what works best for you.

Lightweight, absorbs beautifully, helps a lot!
LOVE this stuff so much! Between the dry Phoenix air and regular drugstore-dye, my hair is quite dry. Unlike normal climates where hair gets greasy after a couple days of not being washed, my hair seems to get drier, crispier, and frizzier with each passing day. I've tried a variety of argan oil blends/brands, and that new Elvive camellia/sunflower oil, and this HairRx stuff is SO MUCH BETTER than all of them! The others tended to be a bit heavy and hard to apply evenly; they would cling to one area and just look greasy, and leave an oily residue on my hands. This "Nourishing Oil" is very lightweight and applies evenly & beautifully. I usually put two generous pumps into my palm, rub my hands to warm/emulsify it a bit, and smooth all over my dry, styled hair. It instantly looks shiny & frizz-free without any grease! My hair feels light & bouncy afterward too, never heavy or oily. And it doesn't leave any residue on my hands, I can just smooth it on and off I go. I did try it once on damp hair after showering, but I didn't see quite as dramatic an effect. It really *shines* (both literally and figuratively) on already-dry, styled hair that needs a bit of a boost.

Strong scent
The scent in the packaging is described as subtle, but it's very strong to me. (But I may just be more sensitive to floral-type scents.) If you want to try it, make sure you squirt some into your hands before applying (it's not a spray-on oil), or else you'll have clumps of oily hair. (I have a similar product that sprays a fine mist directly on strands.) This does leave my hair shining, but I like products with more subtle scents.

Use sparingly on fine hair
HairRx Professional Nourishing Oil This nourishing oil has a nice scent. It doesn't bother me, but if you're sensitive to scents, it'll probably be too strong for you. I spray it onto my hands, rub my hands together and apply it to the ends of my hair. I have fine hair so I apply it sparingly.

Not for me
I loved the smell of this and had high hopes, but it just made my hair look greasy, when I'd just washed and blow dried it. I have very fine hair and this didn't work.
