Excellent product and value.

Needed to bring the pH and total alkalinity of my 20,000 litre above ground pool - TA was way too high and pH was outside where it needed to be, resulting in a very cloudy pool - more so after shocking it.Added the recommended dose last night and by this morning the pool was significantly clearer (although not quite perfect) and the TA and pH are measurably lower. Free chlorine is also up now that pH and TA are now getting better.Will need to treat it again, but very pleased with the initial result.7Kg bottle was easy to pour into a suitable container to weigh out exactly what I needed, and will last quite a while.

The dosage instructions is to dilute the product using a dosage rate 11g per 1000 litres. Most plastic buckets hold 10 litres of water. At that rate you’d need 1g per bucket = 100 x 10 litre buckets of water. It doest say what total volume of water that effects and what that amount would lower it too! The dosage should be to dilute and dissolve at a rate of 100g per 10 litres —- per 1000 litres of pool water. How many bucket loads you’ll need depends on your pool’s total volume, what your current level is. Take it slow, 2 bucket loads at time and monitor it. Add more if required. Get it right and this product is very effective at lowering ph in swim pools.

I purchased this as an item that was supposed to reduce PH. Sadly it didn't do anything to my PH levels

These chemicals arrived in an unmarked container with no dosing instructions. I have no idea if the product is pH reducer or not. This is not only illegal but also dangerous and irresponsible. I am flabbergasted.
