Royal Family Japanese Rice Cake Mochi Daifuku (Red Bean), 7.4 Ounce

I love these!

There were 6 of these in the box, and they have a very soft and interesting texture. There is not a lot of flavor to the outer part, and there is a slight sweetness to the red bean paste filling. If you're expecting something like an American snack cake, you will be disappointed, but if you are expecting a different kind of snack this could be an interesting purchase. I rather like the texture. I thought about sharing them but I don't think they're for everyone, some people will be put off by the texture and flavor, and I liked them enough to eat the whole box myself. This is a nice snack and I will probably buy it again sometime.

Good and interesting flavor. The Japanese people always do everything right IMO. I might order this again but it's not an every day food for me.

I’m pleased to have brought this. It arrived fresh and paired nicely with coffee for a tasty dessert.

When I ordered the first time it was really good, but the second time I ordered they came in paper cups and the mochi was not as squishy and mellow it was harder this time and the paste inside was not tasty.. Why?????? Please ditch the paper cup version or have it sold as a seperate product please

I love mochi that is not too too soft. I could eat a million of these they are so good.

I did not get what I ordered. I've had these several times before, I know the taste of red bean. It's rich, it's the perfect melt in your mouth sweetness, it's practically like a delicacy in your mouth, it's amazing.And this was not red bean paste. Not only was the mochi aspect of it incorrect, an off color, overly gelatinous mess leaving you choking in flour from the amount placed on it, but the filling wasn't what I ordered either, there was no red bean paste, there was some kind of garbage, choppy, cheap fig type filling, with skins filling the inside, and a piece of fig pit that nearly broke my senior father's tooth! This was supposed to be a nice Father's Day gift, as we both love red bean products, and have for awhile, and all I got was a disgusting mess of absolute garbage. I will not be ordering from this manufacturer again, because this sub par quality is absolutely shameful.

Very yummy and filling was good. The filling was as much as shown on the package.
