The name says it all; top of the line, and excellent quality cabin air filter. I went through so many of the regular paper filters, from OEM to aftermarket ones and when I found out K&N made a washable and reusable filter, I had to take a chance on it. Nice feel, better airflow, and just knowing I could wash and reuse is pure perfection. Keeps Auto Techs and Advisors away from "recommending" cabin air filter replacement every time they complete their Multi-Point inspections. Great investment and definitely recommend

This is the cabin filter like no other and I am very pleased with it. I have purchased one before sometime ago and thought it would be a good time to replace the old one. It's so good I have recommended to my family members and friends who like the clean air freshness in their car.

Fits perfectly in the 2015 Toyota 4Runner. Installation was quick and simple.

After 15,000 miles of use, I'm still intrigued by a filter that will last a long time, perform well and that can be cleaned and reused.After receiving the item, hang it out in the wind for a day or two to get rid of the (slight) rubber smell. After that, the smell never comes back.I did my first cleaning at 15,000 miles. It looked slightly dirty but a lot of dirt and grime came out. I made my own mix of sodium perborate and club soda to clean it, then lightly misted on a mixture of 70/30 rubbing alcohol and mineral oil.For $35, this filter has already paid for itself. Rather than two $20 cheap quality paper filters that look filthy at 15,000 miles, this looks good after wash. If it lasts even another 15,000 miles, which is expected, it is a bargain.I appreciate the solid feel and frame of this K&N- far better than other flimsy replacements.UPDATE: Second cleaning at 30,000 miles, very dirty, took 3 washes but then mostly clean. Changed the homemade refresher mist to olive oil and added lime juice. Great clean smell, no chemicals. We'll see if it lasts.56,000 MILE UPDATE: Fourth cleaning; it was dirty after 11,000 miles from the last clean but washed up nicely with the sodium perborate / club soda mixture, sitting for 30 minutes in that. It may be necessary to clean these every 10,000 miles now. While not pristine clean, it's still pretty good, no major damage to the frame or filter material- looks like it will go another 10,000 miles easy. I like the initial smell of the homemade lime juice refresher instead of chemicals.FINAL UPDATE: I got about 90,000(!) miles out of this filter before replacing it with a new one.

I'm getting mixed feelings about this new type of filter that K&N is throwing out there. Their regular air filters for engines are awsome as I got them for all four of my cars, but these are not the case. The filter doesn't have as many pleads compared to the OEM ones, but it has more than the cheapest FRAM filters. All disposable filters have a arrow indicating what side to put to follow the air of your ventilation system, but this K&N filter does not so you gotta guess which way to put it in.Lastly, the first time I installed and used the filter every went well, but after 3 days of use, every time I turn off the A/C there's this nasty sour smell coming from my ventilation system. This usually is an indication that the cabin air filter is dirty. My regular disposable filters usually last me a month before it starts to make my air smell when I turn off the A/C.I'm putting down this down for a 2 star review at this point in time.*****Update 04/13/2015*****The cause of the smell seems to be from the rubber frame this filter is surrounded in. The out-gassing fumes in the material is mixed with the damp lukewarm air whenever I turn off my A/C to create a very nasty sour smell. They should really put a warning label saying this thing will put out nasty fumes for a few days after opening. I assume this situation is like memory foam items where you need to let it out-gas for awhile till the smell goes away before you can use it. I'm going to take out the filter and leave outside in the sun for a few days before I try to use it again.*****Update 01/31/2016*****Well it's been like around half a year since I bought this and it's working pretty well and I definitely saving some $ and being more eco friendly. The only thing you really got to get past with this filter is the out gassing the rubber does when you first use it. It really did stink oninitial use and it does take weeks for it to go away. After that though it just clean and odorless air.Changing rating to 4 stars.

This filter replaced an OEM cabin air filter in my 2015 RAV4. It was easy to install, and seems to perform well at improving the interior air quality. I haven't noticed unusual noise levels since installation.
