Close enough.
These appear to not be genuine S&W grips. Which I didn't expect them to be in honesty. Despite that, I do quite like them.Gripes- The fit is not great, the left panel when placed onto my Smith 642 chipped on the back strap near he top as you can see in the photos. Edges don't match up consistently.- the S&W emblems are very cheap looking, I would certainly say plastic.- the checkering is mediocre and the surrounding border is excessively deep.If those are issues that would bother you, pay for genuine smith grips. I personally don't care much, the chip peeves me the most. However this gun will likely spend most of its life in an ankle holster on duty anyway and is going to get roughed up. For my money, these were close enough and gave me the look I wanted (and prime? Yes please). I have a Tyler T grip adapter on the way to finish off this little gun just how I want. If you're like me and you're okay with close enough these work fine, look decent and do attach firmly.

Pretty sad about this
Did not fit my SW bodyguard .38 special j frame, it shaped as it would but blocks the pin that would drop for the firing pin
