These arrived in a few days as advised by the seller, the package included useful information about how to contact them and resolve any matters of concern. I bought them to help someone who is finding arthritis makes exerting force more difficult and the tool does make cutting easier. They don't feel as robust as more expensive tools but are effective. I found the ratchet mechanism a bit strange to use at first but within a short time I became used to the way it holds and force can be reapplied. It will prune tough thick wood and leaves a clean cut. It is an anvil style cutting action and I thought it coped better with thicker stems than more flexible ones. The locking device requires the use of two hands. I'm happy with it and think it will suit people who want an easy to use and effective basic tool. I'll use it for hard cutting back of shrubs and other tough wood and use a good bypass cutter for more precise work.

I write this review based on my decades of experiences as a consumer and user of this type of item.The brand is well known having been around for decades.Best used with twigs, sticks and similar to a width of and around an HB pencil.I am an adult male with a UK male glove size 10 / 11.I can grip these cutters easily as could anyone with a similar hand size. They might not be easily used by people with small hands.The design of handle makes it easy to grip and see the blade to position at the point you wish to cut.OVERALL. Pricey but treated properly the cutters will probably last a long time

Certainly made thicker branches and twigs easier to cut. Very pleased

These pruners are very good at what they are supposed to do - i.e. pruning.They are also very comfortable to use.However, I find it quite tricky to release and fasten them, especially when I am wearing gardening gloves - which is most of the time. Although this means that they should last longer as they are sturdy to use, it has been inconvenient when I need to open them or close them in a hurry. I will not return them, but they are not perfect.

These are easy to use, comfortable and sharp. They cut through thick roots and branches up to about 1.5cm easily. Very pleased with this product.

Good value. I bought these for my elderly neighbour who has arthritis and they’re great, light and easy to use. Very good at cutting through branches even if you haven’t much strength in your hands. I also have a pair and they’re the best ones I’ve ever had.
