Worth it to me
I've been in the market for a smartwatch for a while. I am very picky about the design and functionality. I love the look of the Samsung gear s3, just something about being able to spin the bezel reminds me about some of the watches I had when I was younger. So I was super stoked to find one one here on Amazon in the renewed section. Unfortunately this is an older model and was in acceptable condition but a steal at just 36.00. I noticed that the battery had a hard time keeping a charge and it would die within a few hours. Looking for accessories I found this replacement battery. It was pretty cheap and came with the tools to change it. It was not too difficult and took about 20 minutes start to finish to change. The hardest part for me was getting the back off without damaging the wires. Then putting it back together correctly. I would recommend taking some pictures before and during the process just to make it easier putting it back together. There is nothing solder it all just snapped back together easily. Put it on the charger and now it works better then ever and being 520ma the battery last almost twice as long. The only additional tools I use was a flat head screwdriver to gently pry the back off and a magnifying glass to be able to see the wire connections better. So now I'm into my watch for about 50bucks and absolutely love it. The only thing that I wish it would do is monitor my blood pressure but unfortunately living in the US the FDA regulates the ability and function of that here in the US, even on the newer versions of galaxy watches. Hope this helps if anyone is stuck on the fence of whether or not to buy an older smart watch.

Buyer beware
When i received the watch i used it for about three weeks and the screen froze then the watch did not work for about five minutes. It happened again a few days later so i called Samsung and they told me to send it in and i will have it back in a max of two weeks. Once i sent the watch in, i received an email stating my watch had been received and put on hold for unavailable parts. I did not hear anything else for a couple weeks and this is when i started contacting the service line daily for one month. Every time I called I would get a different answer every time. I was led on believing I was "going to be receiving my watch within the next week" for nearly two and a half months. Finally they decided to issue a replacement and when i received the new refurbished device the bezel was initially 'crunchy' when rotated and was also lose. i contacted the repair center where i was then transferred to case management. I explained my situation and was told to send the device back to get a repair. I stated that i did not want to do that because of the chance of another horrid experience and from there i was promised and reassured that i would have my watch back in my hands within a max of a week and a half. I trusted that this information was true and that I wouldn't be treated so poorly again so i decided to send it back for the repair. Four days later I called since I had not received anything besides the device had been received, the associate I was talking to told me the repair was underway and I would have the device back within a week. Later on that same day I received an email stating that the device has been put on hold once again for unavailable parts.Watch itself is great! But good luck if you have a problem and have to go through the warranty process.

Battery life could be better (need to charge every 2-3 days), but overall, love the watch. Does everything that I wanted it to do. Just got it a week or two ago.

Great choice for a replacement S3 Frontier.
The watch runs very well. It synchronized nice and easy with my Samsung phone. The watch has been running smoothly since I charged it three days ago and still has 39% battery. The only issue was the charger that came with the watch. It overheat the watch while charging and the watch screen was showing the overheating alert. I waited until the watch cooled down, and put it to charge my original charger that I had from my old S3 Frontier eight years ago. Then the watch charged without problems. In general I am very happy with this watch.

Bad description
The media could not be loaded. Extremely fast ship watch was imperfect condition. But unfortunately they do not tell you that the watch is too old actually used with a Samsung phone. So I had to hook it to my wife's iPhone. Bad customer service
