The great flavor is still there!
It has always been my favorite 'turrón'. It is always the hardest to get. I was happy.that the delicious flavor has not changed but surprised to see how much each bar shrank in size and hrew in price...still delicious.

Wonderful
Previously I had only encountered this product in Spain at Christmas time in the local supermarkets. I grew very fond of it then but it was clearly not practical to bring large quantities of this home with me in my airplane luggage. So nice to encounter it on amazon.com and not much more expensive, really, than buying it in Spain. Turon is made from almonds - the higher the almond content, the higher the quality for the most part. El Almendro is a medium grade brand - not the most expensive, but very satisfactory in all respects.

Childhood memories
Around Christmas time my dad would go to the local Cuban market and stock up on the "Turrones". Great memories and the flavor doesn't disappoint. I do remember it being a bit thicker though. Very happy they are available on Amazon.

Expired by NINE months, not edible at all!!
Arrived expired by NINE months!! Hard as a rock, not edible at all. Absolutely wasted money on heavily expired product.
