Restores the wood structural integrity
The compound is easy to use after thoroughly mixing the two components in a 1:1 ratio. It's a bit tricky to get the ratio right due to the different consistencies, but it has a decent margin of error. Use nitrile or latex gloves when mixing and applying the compound. It remains pliable for only a limited time; don't mix more than you can use within 10 minutes. It adheres strongly to the wood. I applied it to Abatron LiquidWood-treated wood. After it solidifies, it can be sanded and painted. You can mix these products to create a softer, cream-like putty. Overall, it is an excellent product for restoring the structural integrity of damaged wood. Excellent product.

Great way to repair wood that is damaged.
I use this product after I use the liquid product that is recommended to be used before. The liquid product can be put right on rotted wood and will solidify it. You’re not supposed to dig it out which is a great time saver. Once that was cured in six hours. I use this product to build up and form back to the woods original shape. I did have to use a Dremel and sand a little bit to get the final look. After that cured totally I was able to prime and paint and the repair was seamless. It also seems that this repair is Going to hold up for years.

Excellent product!
This is a great product. It is worth the price! I have used it several times. The most recent was to repair a support beam on my 1876 house. The photo shows the product before it was sanded. This was after applying. I love the fact that it can be shaped and molded. I should have added that I already had the liquid that is needed (from the Abatron kit), that is required to harden the wood prior to filling with this material. I have updated with a photo after sanding and painting. Not perfect, but a great improvement!

Remove, saturate, fill, shape, protect
I’ve used this product for 25 plus years in conjunction with its partner product Clear Penetrating Epoxy Sealer. I’ve had great results from it.

Use This Instead of Bondo
I'd used Bondo for most major wood repair/reconstruction in the past, but stumbled upon a video where I guy used this stuff. It's super lightweight and mashes/kneads together like playdough. No messy glues, adhesives or epoxies.Just pull what you need right out of the container with your (gloved, recommended) hands and knead together until thoroughly mixed. Then just shove it into the space to fill, and shape as needed. After it cures, sand and paint it like wood.I used this product to reconstruct termite- and water-rotted wood after clearing out the decay. Marvelous stuff, don't waste your time with Bondo for doing wood repair any more! This WoodEpox may seem expensive, but the two separate materials come together to form two full quarts, or 115.5 in³. It goes a long way, and other similar products aren't much cheaper. The time I saved alone on preparation (it takes only 30 seconds to knead a small batch) and cleanup (just put the lids back on the containers) pays for itself. As long as this stuff is available, I won't use anything else.

Been using this product for over 40 years
Been using this product for over 40 years. It is excellent for replacing missing wood or repairing damaged wood. With tint, it is good for fixing wood floors before sanding. If host wood is rotted, use consolidating epoxy, first, for best results

THIS STUFF IS GREAT!!!
I had a rotten out bottom portion of a window seal in the inside cause by years of water condensation from the glass. It was a pretty large area of decay. First I removed all of the rotten wood with a knife. Then I used the Liquid Wood Epoxy to strengthen the remaining wood and to create a seal. Once I brushed on the Liquid Wood epoxy, wearing rubber gloves, I mixed equal portions of the WoodEpox putty together in my hands, each about the size of a golf ball, and worked the putty in section by section until the cavity was completely filled. There were indentions in the placed putty from working it with my fingers. I used rubbing alcohol to smooth out the indentions in the putty by dipping my fingers in the alcohol and smoothing, also used the plastic putty knife that came with the kit, but smoothing with alcohol dipped fingers seemed to work better. Once I was satisfied with the cavity filling, I let it dry for 24 hours, then I used my electric sander to sand it and further smooth it out. I then painted it, and it now looks as good as new. The putty is expensive, but I found it to be worth every penny, and am 100% completely satisfied with the results. I highly recommend Liquid Wood Epox and WoodEpox putty for these type of repairs.
