There is very useful info and pictures that have opened my eyes to many possibilities, it even offers genetic info and offers great insight on how to select our much loved discus..If you love discus and want to know more get this book, you will not be disappointed with Dick's offering.rick

Outstanding book from an author who is truly knowledgeable and experienced in raising discus. When reading this book, you realize that Dick Au was at one time a hobbyist like most of us and because of his hard work and dedication to this unique fish, he has become an authority in the art of selecting, grooming, showing, and judging of discus. He also includes a comprehensive section on raising discus fry artificially.

This book is perfect for anyone looking for Discus information that isn't in other general discus books. Some of the information has a lot of science jargon, so people who are not into science may have some difficulty understanding. But overall this is a book every discus hobbyist who is into breeding and wishes to expand their knowledge should have.

A really nice book that deals especially with quality and genetics. Great photos and expert advice. I would recommend this book.

Its always a good thing to have discus books.The item arrived OK, the shipping was fast, and once opened the texts and the images where great!Im not new to discus and have breed them before, the book has some interesting tips for mainteinance, health and spawning, plus wonderfull photos...

This gives practical workable tips. However consider this as a primer only. Not as extensive as Andrew Soh's book. Overall a great buy for beginners and gift for hobbyist friends.
