Quality at a very high price and a narrow application
I bought a "damaged box" fan which was otherwise brand new. I can't imagine paying full price for this fan.Pros:Quiet. Top speed is still quiet.Good AirflowLots of controlIncluded wall controllerController remembers previous fan speed when using power switchConsRubber buttons will definitely wear out before the fan does.Only allows 2 wire installation, so if you have seperate wires for fan and light, you'll have a worthless switch.Crowded controller means hard to find light switch.Emmerson doesn't say anywhere that the fan rod is a non-standard 1/2" pipe (just to buy "Only an emmerson branded downrod"), which also means nobody local carries it. This made me miss my original installation window, and then a pin rolled off while I was waiting for the new downrod, and it took me an hour with a magnet to find it...LEDs do not shift color tones and are specialized, so forget something like Philips Hue lights or any color or brightness but what the fan comes with.
