Teva Women's Churn Evo Water Shoe

I do some very intense water excerise and running in the pool just hurt my feet so much!! I purchased a cheaper pair of water shoes and they did not help at all, so I found Teva on Amazon.com, and ordered them it is the Best thing I could have done! Now I can really look forward to my workout. They are light in the water and they dry out fast and are ready to go again. I would recommend to anyone who needs extra support for their feet in the pool to not want another minute, but order your Teva water shoes, TODAY!

Possibly these are good for the pool, but I bought them to hike in and they are horrid. There is not enough drainage, there is one narrow opening along the sides near the top that lets in rocks and sand, but there is not sufficient venting to allow the sand and rocks to go out once they are in. They either should have been completely closed or better vented to allow the detritus carried in by the water to be flushed out. In addition, after wearing them to hike for about an hour, I have developed the most painful blister on my big toe I have ever had, and usually I don't have problems with blisters or rubbing, but these shoes were just terrible all around. I kept having to take them off to flush them out. Very frustrating.

(This review is on behalf of my wife.) Shoe fits great, it has a comfortable instep for my arch support. The back side of the shoe folds down, great for when I need to quickly slid into my shoes "mule-style" and run. The fabric is soft but my only complaint is the stitching on the inside of the shoe above my arches caused some friction burn. Bad if you plan to hike in streams for a while, the friction lead to mild blistering. If you wear ankle socks for the long haul, you will be fine. Just shed off the socks when you plan to trek through water. I found these shoes very practical and comfortable, much like an athletic sneaker but with aqua versatility. Great shoes, attractive design, and decent sole traction.

True to size, great shoe for an outdoor land/water adventure, the dog park, or wading into a creek. My first pair had the bungee spontaneously snap on my very first wear during some off-road sightseeing on a trip, without my having pulled them very tight. Disappointing! Amazon was nice enough to send me a replacement pair to the hotel where I was staying at the time so that I could continue to use them on my trip! The replacement pair has been going strong for several months; of course, I am now aware that the bungee might be unexpectedly fragile, so I take care not to yank them. These are true to size and dry very quickly and are comfortable while wet. Not recommended for an actual hike or for running, but overall I would recommend these for certain uses.

I was initially looking for a water shoe to wear on the boat and wade in, but to my surprise, I found that Teva offers these in a water & walking shoe! I go barefoot a lot on the boat, but when I get into the water, in some areas, there might be oyster beds unseen underwater and I don't want to cut my feet up obviously, hence the water shoe need! They are well vented around the heels and across the sides at my arch where the shoes will not hold water. As far as walking, well once it cools down here in FL, I will start my walking back up, and am looking forward to wearing these! BTW, I have tall heels, and some shoes ride my heels at a lower than desired point, these are the perfect heel height for me, and not rigid as to give me stress or blisters.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE these shoes! I bought them after I started feeling a little "tweak" in my knee, due to my aerobics classes. I run, jump and kick for a solid hour with water weights on my ankles so I realized I needed more support. After buying them, I'm finding all kinds of reasons to wear them! Great for beach walking, paddle boarding, hiking, etc... After reading many reviews, I bought my exact size but found that too large. The shoe slipped on my heel. I returned that purchase and bought 1/2 size smaller than my normal size, which I found perfect! The shoes give amazing support, look super cute (I get compliments and questions about them all the time) and I'm no longer sliding on the areas of the pool that were once slick. I can 't recommend these enough. Very happy!

This shoe is incredibly comfortable, even right out of the box. I bought them for a water hike/kayaking outing, and they seem perfect! The elastic lacing is easily adjustable without having to bother with actual laces, which means the shoes can hug tightly if you want secure footing on slippery rocks or hang a bit loosely if you're on a more casual outing. The back heel folds down to make a clog-style shoe, and is comfortable to walk on. I didn't even notice the feel of the heel after testing it out.These shoes grip incredibly well, even on wet surfaces. I love the colors (stylish, not so girly that I feel embarrassed to wear them, rugged enough to match my outdoor clothing, and dark-colored enough to hide dirt/mud), and they are casual enough to wear into restaurants or bars, too. Mine fit like a glove, and I love wearing them.Only downside: as with most sandals, my feet start to stink a bit when they sweat and I don't have socks to wick away the moisture. However, this is only problematic on dry hikes---water activities mean my feet get rinsed enough that this isn't much of an issue. And these shoes were made for water sports. They are absolutely perfect for canoe/kayak/rafting trips, or for waterfall hikes.

I have been looking for a water shoes that have some ankle support and I finally found it.I was wearing these shoes whole day with no socks and felt very comfortable!I spend few hours walking in/near pool! I almost forgot that I had them on - very comfortable in a water!Has a great cushioned bottom so it looks and feels like a sneaker.It's easy to put it on and take off, I was able to wear it with and without ankle brace and it did not feel that I was going to stretch the shoe.I am very happy with this purchase! I am usually size 7.5 in majority of shoes. I got size 7 vs 7.5, I usually buy 7 in Crocs vs 7.5!
