Promixx 2.0: The Original Vortex Mixer. World's most advanced protein shaker - BLUE

Pretty awesome mixer.I only use it for protein shakes (not scrambling eggs, as the insert suggests), but it does an amazing job of creating a smooth and blended drink. It's not totally silent, but it's quieter than I expected, and MUCH quieter than those metal whisking balls. I mostly use it to mix up a drink for lunch at the office. It's nice to have that option now, whereas before I looked like a P90X guy walking around shaking my arm vigorously (nothing wrong with P90X, but I work in a somewhat conservative professional setting, so that tended to be a bit out of place).I've used it for about 2 weeks now without charging, and still going strong. I only leave it on for 10 or so seconds, and then everything is all stirred up well.What would make me give this 7 stars? The powdered mix storage holder. It suits my needs well, but I use it for water as well as for the shake. The storage holder is built into the top where you drink out of, and sits under the lid. So if the storage holder is on the cup, you can't drink out of it at all. It seems like creating the same storage holder except slightly smaller to allow for water to flow past wouldn't have been super difficult. That way, you could store your dry mix and drink regular water until you're ready to mixx away. As it stands, you have to bring the powder storage separately (it comes with a separate lid, so this isn't a problem).Maybe the best thing? It's so leakproof. I've had many bottles that claim to be leak proof, and granted I haven't abused this one too much, but it's been in my bag with my laptop and work papers upside down and I've had no leakage. That's not to say that if it was jostled around too much the stopper wouldn't come undone, but so far it's been pretty spectacular.A good buy, and I'd buy again.

i was a little hesitant to purchase this unit based on the number of reviews mentioning liquid leakage into the motor and overall unreliability but I finally decided because I was way too tired it tasting clumps of protein powder from my hand held shaker. I went back and forth between the different models out there and decided on this one in blue. So far I must say it has been a game changer. Solid built, powerful and easy to use and clean. In retrospect I just don't see how other reviewers could have gotten liquid in this unit's motor. You can (and should) remove it before cleaning your Vortexx, thereby minimizing any water or liquid from getting into it.The only minor critique, which kept me from giving it 5 stars was on the rubberized on/off button in the base in the unit. Sometimes it takes more than a firm push to get the unit going but once it does, oh my! You have enough power to mix even the thickest of powders.If you are serious into your supplements and want something that will work every time, go for it! You will Not be disappointed.

I am giving the Promixx bottle a 1 star review because of my experience with customer service, rather than the product itself. However, I think customer service is equally important.I received the bottle on time, and it initially worked well. The vortex seemed strong and blended my protein shakes perfectly. However, after 1-2 months of use, the rubber gasket O-ring that seals the lid broke, and I had problems with the lid leaking on every use. This essentially made the product unusable for me. After a few minor leakage incidents, the bottle spilled a huge amount of protein shake on my suit during an airplane flight, and I had to stop using it completely.Promixx advertises a "Leak Proof Guarantee" on their website. I had attempted to contact them regarding the broken rubber gasket and leaking lid. I requested a replacement rubber gasket from them, however I did not receive any response from the company. I emailed them 2 more times (for a total of 3 times) requesting a simple rubber gasket, that surely would have been cheap for them to send out. I did not request a replacement product or a return or anything, just a rubber gasket. I was overall satisfied with the product itself, if I could fix the leaking issue. I never heard back from them after my extensive attempts at contacting the company directly through their website. This seemed like a very poor response, especially given their "Leak Proof Guarantee". They clearly do not stand behind their product.That being said, the bottle works well when it works. I don't know if I got one with a defective rubber gasket, since according to other reviews very few have had problems with leaking. But be warned that if you get one from a bad batch, the company will not be there to help, even for something as cheap as a replacement rubber O-ring.

It worked fine for a month. I was using it nearly every day. I used to mix my protein powder with soy milk. As expected, it slows down considerably once your drink gets thicker. It never leaked anytime, as advertised. Cleaning is a bit of a challenge. Even though it's claimed that it's easy to clean, it's not. You still have to use the brush to clean if you want to do a thorough job.But after a month's use, it stopped working. No clear precipitating cause here. So there.. in the garbage it went!

Amazing shaker cup would've been given 5 stars but had to give it 3 for just one reason. If you use protein the cup takes on this horrific smell. Luckily it doesn't affect the taste of my pre-workouts but still pretty annoying. A shaker cup at this price point should not have this issue. Otherwise amazing build quality all around and great battery life. One charge has lasted me about 5 days using it twice a day for 30-60 seconds of it mixing my supplements.
