TABAKH Stainless Steel Wire Roaster, Papad Jali, Round

For longest time since I have learned to make rotis, I have thought they turned out mediocre. What I grew up eating was phulka and I simply couldn’t get that on a tawa skillet. This has finally made me so happy. The roti’s puff up perfectly and if you do it correctly, the time taken to make rotis is much lesser. I have a ceramic top electric stove and this works perfect. If you have a job and cooking after a work day is less loved chore and making phulkas even dreaded ones, this might just be the little helper you need. Frankly was sick and tired of frozen rotis and tandoori naan and nothing can beat a lovely puffed phulka.

Sometimes I feel balance is kinda out. Overall, it is nice product.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I bought this to make roti softer but its making harder. So now i am good without this. But for other things like for coals or papad, this is best.

Please remember to use this only when something (papad/roti/paratha) is actually on the mesh. Do not leave it on gas/coil at high temperature for long time while you do other things. It maybe metal but simply leaving it directly on top of high temperature surface without anything actually cooking on it will ultimately burn it.

I just got this from Amazon , washed it and put it on the stove top for roti and as soon as I turned the stove on it changed the color to black. I don’t think it should do anything like this. I don’t like it.

I use it to roast seaweed over the gas stove. It’s very easy to use, and I love it! Thanks!
