Makes reading fine print easier!
I was shown one of these by a project manager in my firm and was amazed by how easy it was to read fine print on our drawings. This magnifier is much better than a magnifying glass! All you have to do is lay this on whatever you need to read and voila!

This is a wonderful light-gathering magnifier that comes in a wood base. Great for viewing old photos, slides, contact and proof sheets. It can also be used to read telephone directories, blueprints, maps and charts, stamps, coins--anything with small detail or print.This product is made in the USA and very helpful for the person wanting to look at details. I do use a loop on my photos, but this light gathering magnifier is large enough so several people can view at once. It comes with a protective pouch included.

Been looking for one of these for a while under magnifying glass, but it is under visual aides. Perfect for reading small font on blueprints, I use it frequently, plus several people can be looking at it simultaneously from around a table, so discussing a hard to read detail among people in a meeting is easy.
