I don't write too many reviews and rarely positive ones, but I will in this case. This is a great product. The toys themselves are solidly constructed and well suited to their purpose, they are appealing and well made. What really set this product aside was the app. It is a free download without any in-app purchases. Using the app it is remarkably easy to make simple stop-motion animations. My daughter and I had no trouble making a simple animation that lasted a few seconds in less than fifteen minutes of work. Later, I made a fifteen second animation for my daughter in an hour or so of work. We have since been experimenting with the greenscreen feature that comes with it. I strongly recommend this product for children aged 8+ with some adult help (it was a super fun father-daughter project) or else for solo-play for a child 10-12+. I am slightly ashamed to admit that I had fun using it alone to craft a sort of video post-card for my daughter while I was on a business trip. Finally, the price: I paid something like $12 for the set and then bought a stikbot dog to round out the set for a total of a little under $30. This set is VERY well priced. This $10-12 item came with a iPod/camera tripod that worked just fine. It is solid and fairly stable. I suggest taping it down before you use it to guard against inadvertent bumping. The cat and figure that it came with are expressive and cute. They work fairly well for their stop-motion purpose. Sometimes they wouldn’t hold the desired pose and that is frustrating (I fixed it by sticking some gum-eraser into the joints.) Despite that this is a phenomenal value. Literal hours of fun for ten dollars. Bottom line: Great product, a steal at the price. The app is easy and fun. The sky is the limit for what you can make with these. Buy a kneeded gum eraser to go with the product to make it a bit easier and a sheet of dark green paper or cloth for a green screen. I'll try to upload a video shortly

Got these for the grandkids who love to be creative. My grandkids are young, but technically savvy. They love making movies with the Stikbots!

My oldest grandson wanted these so of course Mimi bought them for him. I thought they were kind of silly but whatever. When he got them he started doing all kinds of imaginative things with them. I thought it was cool how it made his imagination go wild.

Cute kids have a lot fun with these

My son specifically ordered this set for his brother, because it shows a red cat and blue figure. What arrived was a green figure and blue cat, which he didn’t want, so they wouldn’t mix up their sets. There’s no time to return it. I see other comments say different colors arrived. If colors vary, the description needs to reflect. Otherwise, my boys have gotten hours of great imagination play and videos out of these. (The app is good, but only works well on newer devices, so you may need to look at other apps if your kids have hand-me-downs.)

This was a gift I bought for my grandson for his birthday. He said this is the best Gift Ever Grandma. It beat all his other gifts.
