SpeckiPhone XS Max Case, Protective Grip Ultra Thin Slim Hardshell Anti Scratch Presidio Cover Case - Black

I love my iPhone XS Max except for the super slick finish!I know it has to look shiny etc but it is so slick I kept almost dropping it.You know that heart sopping moment as it starts to slip out of your fingers!Before this one I had a perfectly fine thin, clear rubber case but it still had very little grip.I bought this great case and now finally feel like I've got control of it safely.The ridges give a great grip but are not uncomfortable.I never pick it up and feel it slip slightly in my hand.The edges give some protection from drops and the corners are specially made to protect against any impacts.There is a slight lip sitting above the screen which prevents damage to the edge of the screen and raises it slightly if you are placing it face down on a table. They've obviously spent a lot of time designing it this way.The only way I can see you breaking the screen is if you drop it completely flat, face down, onto something like gravel etc.If you're going to spend this much money on an iPhone you'd be daft not to keep it safe from scratches and the odd drop.I know it sounds paranoid but I feel if someone tried to grab it out of my hand, while I was reading at a cafe table for example, I think I would have a good grip on it! (You're not paranoid if they really are out to get you!) :-)I highly recommend this case - your iPhone deserves it!

Since getting my iPhone XS Max I've tried 4 or 5 different cases but in one way or another none of them have matched the quality of the Thule cases I used with my previous iPhone 6 and 7. The most common issue was being far too slippery in the hand and not inspiring confidence in their claimed protection from drops.I was beginning to think I wouldn't find a case to match the Thules when someone recommended the Speck Grip range. Finally I've found a case that I feel confident in using. Not just because of the raised rubberised grip that stops the phone sliding through your hand, or sliding off of a tilted surface, but the construction actually feels tough enough to withstand a drop (from up to 10 feet apparently). It's also remarkably slimline for such a well constructed case, adding far less bulk than the Mous case that I was using previously. Finally it has a raised lip on the front that stops the screen or screen protector from touching the surface when placed face down. Face down is how I normally place my phone on my desk so that was important to me as well. The button covers fit perfectly and have a re-assuringly positive feel to them.If I have one small criticism it's that the pattern of grippy stripes leave a gap on either side about halfway up and that's precisely the point I naturally place my fingers to pick it up off the desk. I just have to get used to grabbing it a little further up to avoid dropping it. Otherwise the grip works well to stop the phone falling out of pockets as well.It took me 5 other cases (a couple much more expensive) to get to this one, but I'm very happy with this one. Without doubt, the most expensive iPhone case I’ve used so far. The screen and camera are slightly recessed, giving protection from scratches when laid down. The slight ridges on the sides give a good confident grip.It’s flexible enough to make it fairly easy to fit and remove, yet has a good solid feel, and is a perfect snug fit around the phone.I would definitely look to buy again when it’s time to change phones. (If it had lasted longer).*** 6 months later - The red grip strips are starting to come unstuck. Starting to look a bit tired. It’s a pity, as I really liked this case at first. Now reducing by 2 stars.*** 5 months later. As can be seen in the photos, after 11 months, the case now looks very tatty and has started splitting at the charge port, and stretching around the buttons.Reduced down to 1 star. For the price of this case, I would have expected it to last. It's a real shame. I really liked it, when I first received it.

As someone who is prone to dropping their phone, this case is perfect.- it offers a fairly high degree of protection- unlike some other cases its not too bulky- it looks smart- the case has lines of grippy rubber on the side and back which is useful, but the rest of the case is smooth/hard plastic so it doesn’t get her lots of lint and dust!Would recommend it highly.

Probably on of the best Military drop protected cases out there.The things I like about this case is:Although it gives your phone military drop protection; it is not bulky.When you hold it in your hand you can feel that it it is a premium case unlike those flimsy cheap TPU cases out there.It's not that expensive either.I highly recommend this case.

I have used this case before and it has saved my iPhone on several occasions from falls.It is very protective and the backing has a nice grip, specially for big size iPhones (7 Plus / 8 Plus / XS Max).Seller sent the item on time and good packaging.

Brilliant case with amazing protection.From the moment you put this case on your iPhone you know it’s top tier protection but in a slim non bulky case!!! I’ve tried other cases but always felt that there was very little grip to them. Now with the amazing presidio grip case I feel confident in using my iPhone

This case fits the xs max very well, your phone feels secure and safe and the grippy exterior really helps when holding the phone. So far so good...Update: After 2 months usage the only issue I've found is that when you put the phone down on a flat surface it doesn't lay flat and wobbles.
