Depthlan Photo Light Box Photographing Shooting Tent for Small Items and Jewellery 13x13 inch with Four Backdrops Included Folding Photo Studio Kit Box

I bought this light box to photograph custom epoxied tumblers. The first time I used it I noticed one of the light strip connections was loose so I took care when plugging in the USB cord but the weight of the cord pulled the connector off the strip. I was able to get the strip to work (sort of) by using a clip to hold it onto the strip but the lights didn't stay on for long. When the two strips are plugged in the light is very bright and the bottom strip throws unwanted highlights onto my tumblers so the top broken strip is the only one I can use. Unfortunately I didn't buy the insurance and didn't use the product until after the return period had expired. Aside from the light strip issue, the rest of the product is decent but nothing exceptional. I really do feel that $19.99 is a bit much for substandard quality. I would not buy this product again but if you decide you want to take a chance, definitely buy the insurance!

I consider myself a fairly advanced photographer... so when my wife decided to start selling jewelry as a business, I dragged out my big light tent, continuous lighting sources, and macro lens. She found all of that overwhelming and ended up using her iPhone for most of the photos, so the search began for a simpler system. This works amazingly well, sets up quick and easy, and plugs into any usb power source. Using this and either her iPhone or her Olympus E-M10 Mk II, she’s getting nice images with a minimum of hassle. She’s been very happy with it.

My hobby is making beaded jewelry and I wanted to try my pictures for my Facebook page in a light box. I picked this one because it is portable, light weight and it has two LED light strips. The first picture shows the jewelry in the light box with the edges showing and the second one is just cut back in the paint program on my computer. It was easy to get a great picture and I have several others with the different colored backgrounds (black, red, white & blue) that look just great. At this inexpensive price, I am thrilled with my new pictures and will be using this for a long time in the future.

I really wanted to like this. Seriously. but for starters the snap on the side doesn't want to stay done so it keeps unclipping when I'm trying to use it, then the white background but they sent was kind of dirty and had a spot on it. The cord is extremely short that you need to plug in so don't plan on having it plugged in the wall you'll need an extension cord. lastly the thing that bothers me the most is the holes in the design. The point of having a light box or photo box is so that your pictures look more professional but they all have black spots in the back. At least make your linen backdrop cover those spots up if that's how you're going to do the design. It is pretty bright but I still had a lot of trouble with my pictures. You can't really get a picture from directly overhead and the way that they have the lights there were a lot of issues with reflections. I guess you get what you pay for.

I bought this to take pictures of some jewelry I was selling and it was exactly what I needed. A lot less reflection than when taking pics in natural light, and I can keep the lighting consistent across the entire jewelry line. A little difficult to fold/unfold but I think that will get easier as it's used more

Harder to assemble then I though, I had to find a random YouTube video, as I didn’t know how much force to use initially opening the item and didn’t want to break before use. I gave 4 stars as the bottom corners are open and you can see through, for me it shows in the pictures captured, and required some finagling whit white tissue paper to hide the opening as my item is medium sized but on the wider side.

I really like this item it allows you to take excellent photos of your product just like a professional even using your cell phone it comes with three other backgrounds outside of the white it is easy to assemble and it is sturdy. The USB lighting very bright you may not need to use the top or the bottom at the same time because you will get a shadow of the mini bulbs in your photographs.

I did like the quality, the ease to assemble (there is a sheet with instructions how to do it) and it is sturdy. The only thing I did not like (and I was aware when I bought it, just wanted to make sure it was a quality item; great price BTW!) is the size; now I know it is a good item and I will buy a bigger one in the future.
