Extremely Happy!!!
I read a lot of negative reviews about this item but before I began, I tested my new underbody lights. All worked and I was VERY happy with the quality of how the LEDs were embedded in the rubber mounting material. As far as the wires that feed to the LEDs, I used 3/8" black flexible split corrugated fire retardant conduit (from AutoZone) to keep the wires from melting. As others have mentioned, be sure to purchase the extension wire for the rear of the vehicle. I used "Xtreme 1 Pack Of 2M (6.6 ft /79 inch) Extension Wire / Cable / Cord For 7 Color LED Under Car Glow Underbody System Neon Lights Kit 48", 36" & 24" Strips" here on Amazon. Unless you own a sub-compact vehicle the wires will not reach the back of your vehicle if you mount the control box under hood. Personally, I had no issues with the remote but the range is definitely not like today's remotes for locking your car. The brightness of the LED's was perfect and all the choices of fading, blinking and steady colors was awesome!!! For under car lights, you don't want them that bright anyway... it will distract other drivers; subtle lighting just to catch the eye.

Cheap, but works. Good price
i bought 3 times. Each time it works... but some reason it didnt last. One time i had single light strip go out. I couldn't find a good deal for the a single strip so I bought the entire thing again. I replaced the entire system, but now I oddly have 3 that are not working. I will try one more time. It is good price for the effect and look. Some states do not allow blue or red, so I usually stick with a green glow and have switched my interior lights with green as well.

Great lights
These lights are great, the colours nice. The features are nice but I would prefer to select the modes/colours without having to scroll through all of them to get the one I want at the time. They are waterproof, but if not mounted properly they can be easily damaged due to abrasion if the car is low. Chic magnet, rave reviews, etc. These needs to be sold with the black write harness shield/covering so the white writes are not that obvious. I am going to put them on my other car. (I need spare parts 48" LED RGB strips two.)

Meh
Has 3 color leds per inch red a green and a blue, pretty good weather design though but small areas that need a once over with sealant especially the part were the wires go into the strips, the converter has four leads to the strips which will not reach around the entire car so you have to cut and add wire. The antenna wire is only 3 inches long. Overall you if you want a single color like blue you will only have 1 diode per 2 inches so the glow factor is very low. But for the price this is a nice beginner set to toy with or buy the kid for his or her first car. I'd go smd 50/50 rgb if you want true colors and brightness. Might end up slapping this on my lawn mower LOL

Led bar wires too short. No products to attach item to car.
Amazon is awesome, as usual. Kit does not come with zip ties or any way to attach to the car. I used zip ties where I could and epoxy where I could not. Also, the wires that run from the flexible led bars to the control box are really short. Plan on locating the control box somewhere in the middle of the underside of your car and then running the power, ground, and ignition wires to their respective locations.

Purchased these and installed. First time I installed I didn't shield the small 18 Gauge wires with anything. First one the two long 48in led strips both failed in 3 months of winter driving, Decided to get another pair and install shielding around the wires. Has lasted much longer than the first pair so far, and still have another remote encase the first one I got fails. Pain to install but used molding tape to do so.

sweet light kit!
They look very good under my civic, got people wanting to install on there cars.u may have to buy two kits just to do it the rite way.The lights for the front and back are not quite long enough,so I had to cut and souder and shrink tube together to make longer. The sides are not an issue. The directions are not very helpful, they show basic where they go but not how to install.I would also recommend putting a small 15 amp watt fuse in close to the possitive on the battery, and not to just install striaght to the battery, and the black wire just install to the body of the car some where and not to the negitive on the battery.ohh and the other single red wire by itself I didnt even use I just capped it off.

1 strand out of 4 did not work.
3 out of the 4 strands work fine , can't figure out how to change it to one single color instead of rainbow colors.. But they work. The one strand however has a short apparently and only the 1st 2 bulbs light up. But I guess I'm screwed now, since I didn't hook them up until my return fate was expired . :( 2 of the last 3 amazon orders I've had have been broken/damaged/missing parts. Think I may be an eBay customer soon.
