Great scale despite defective case hinge
Great little scale. Very compact and so far has been very accurate. The scale itself seems to be well made. Definitely well priced and I’m happy with the purchase. One small hiccup: the hard case immediately fell apart upon taking it out of the package due to a defective hinge pin. A bit annoying and inconvenient, but Amazon made the process of getting a replacement as easy and painless as possible. And that is exactly why it’s great to buy on Amazon! As for the scale, I tested it with actual scale calibration weights and the scale passed perfectly: 100% accurate. Hopefully, the scale will last that way although the issue with the case falling apart isn’t a good start. Otherwise, I really like this scale. Looks like it does exactly what I needed to do and it’s the perfect size if they had a higher quality version of this that is built with better care and materials, I most definitely would pay a higher price for better quality build. Even so… It’s a great scale for the price so long as it continues to work.

Genuinely a delight. Accurate and comes with a protective case ready to go.
Miniature scales are a bit of a niche item in that for an everyday person not in a pharmaceutical or scientific field, there aren’t always going to be a huge plethora of at-home uses, but for those into measuring small cooking ingredients by weight, dosing out crushed medication for pets to put into food, needing to assess exact weights for STEM projects, micromanaging buoyancy with aquarium items, etc -- this is going to work very well for you. It’s one of those items you don’t realize is useful to have until you own it and see how much can be done with it. This scale is nice and small, fitting easily in your palm and/or your pocket, and because it comes conscientiously packed to protect it on its journey to you (plus has its own little protective case to keep it safe in drawers and tool kits) I was instantly pretty comforted that it'd stay safe while I carried it around. Maybe I’m just cynical, but I’m always pleasantly surprised at this point when a carrying case is included with any product, considering how often it is that they’re sold separately or even not manufactured at all. I like to give companies/products a shout-out when they take the trouble to make these gestures, as it’s not a given and is good pro-consumer management. This scale itself is really lovely: silver + a metallic teal that looks sharp with its black case. Does it strictly *matter* that it’s lovely… obviously not as long as it’s functional, but I’m not going to pretend to not be happy that it bothered to be both. Set-up was simple with comprehensive directions, it comes with a new battery and takes almost no time at all to prep for us, and is overall painless enough that if you don’t want to micromanage the thing, you don’t have to. Accuracy is one of those things that can be difficult to test as a lot factors into those measurements. Without lab weights to test it, and with the variability of the surface beneath it up to the user, it’s more feasible to judge it based on consistency. If you’ve already got a kitchen scale already for slightly heavier ingredients, that can be a useful point of comparison, or (again, just to keep it simple) you can just make sure to set tare and take all your measurements off the same surface to remove variables within the control group. I weighed several items with this, jotted the numbers down, then waited a few days to measure them again. I got the same results each time. I literally could not be more pleased with this. It’s a really simple but very lovely little addition to my tool kit, is accurate and consistent, comes with everything you need to get started right out of the gate, and is (in my opinion) very generous as far as what it includes for what you shell out for it. Great value, highly recommend.

I don't get this digital scale.
Yes it is compact, yes it shows weight, but the display is so small I can't recommend this scale. If you need a micro scale maybe this is fine but it is pretty flimsy.

Perfectly portable scale
Just had a major surgery , 80% of my stomach was removed. I will need to make a lot of life changes when it comes to food/ eating. I bought this scale for my purse so I will always be able to know how much I’m eating, at friends or on vacation, in restaurants. Im Its fits in the palm of my hand, easy to read, accurate and has a small tray to put your food in for measuring. I am happy with this scale!

Bulk bin buyers’ friend
I like to buy tea, herbs and spices from the bulk bins of our local co-ops, and this portable little scale is great for getting an accurate weigh without going back and forth to the store scale. The protective case hinge even features a loop so I can carabiner it to my bag and not worry about losing it or damaging it. ( I also like that there are instructions on the cover including the correct battery replacement size. I hate running up and down the battery aisle trying to get a visual match on a tiny dead battery, because you can’t read the markings without a microscope! ) I don’t mind eyeballing some spices but others - cloves, cardamom or (gulp) saffron - are so expensive that an overly generous scoop can result in sticker shock at the checkout! Who wants to blow the entire grocery budget by overbuying ingredients for a saffron tea cake? It also has a tare function, so I can just bring my own little containers, write the tare on them and not deal with puncture prone little plastic bags.

Micro Scale has multiple uses
If you're looking for a tiny multi-use digital scale, this Diyife Mini Digital Pocket Scale might be just what you need. It's unbelievably tiny and can measure in ounces, grams, and even other European units of measure. I bought it for my wife who is putting together cooking recipes to share with our grandkids. This little scale lets her be very precise when she's recording how much of various herbs and spices to use that don't fit into teaspoons or tablespoons... like tarragon or rosemary, etc. I also use it for weighing letters to see if they need extra postage. This can easily be done by putting a stand to hold your letter on the scale and then zeroing out the weight of the stand before you place the letter on it. You can do this by pressing the ON button again. It's super lightweight, very accurate, well built, and comes with a plastic carrying case. And there's even a metal lid for extra protection. It's a good value for the money. My only criticism is that the units of measurement above the weight are so tiny I needed a magnifying glass to see what it was. You press the M button to toggle between grams and ounces, etc. My grandson is learning metric measurements in school. He enjoys making a guess about how much something weighs (like a paperclip) and then placing one on the scale to see how close he was to the actual weight. I'm sure you will think of dozens of ways to use this scale open your own.

Tiny Letters
Works well but you need a magnifier to see what mode is set.

Accurate, Compact, and Easy to Use
This little scale works great. It’s very accurate down to small measurements and perfect for anything that requires precision. The display is clear, and the buttons are simple and responsive. I like how compact it is — easy to store or carry around. It comes with everything needed to start using it right away, and it feels reliable overall. For the price, this is excellent quality and does exactly what it’s supposed to do.
