Because I have had problems before with getting all the screws to fit properly while trying to install something like this above my head, I decided to work smarter not harder and dry fit all of the pieces/parts before attempting final installation. All of these parts fit the box and the light parts perfectly. They seem strong and durable. The cover, knobs, and ring are painted well and look good. Dry fitting was a really good idea because the screws holding the cover to the box need to be set at a specific length based on the ceiling finish and box size. Once everything is set where it should go, installation is really easy. The only problem I had with my particular case is the included lamp pipes are not the right size -- one is too short, the other is too long. But that is ok, I had the right size on hand. PROS: The canopy is manufactured from thick and well-machined metal - no flexing in this canopy. All of the hardware if of good quality and the outlet box plate has the necessary (often overlooked by other manufacturers) thickness to not flex. The outlet box plate arrives with the canopy screws already locked at the correct height (big bonus). Canopy is excellently holding an all aluminum ceiling UFO light. CONS: Package was missing one of the screws that attach the outlet plate to the outlet box. This screw's head is barely wide enough to cover the installation slots in the outlet plate. Replaced them with #8-32 x 1 truss head machine screws that allow a much more secure attachment. REPEAT BUY RATING: 100%
