Have you seen the movie??
If you have, then you will want the soundtrack. Just packed, packed, packed with great hits from the late 60s. Obviously, there are groups missing (like the Beatles). I am assuming, just a small detail with the rights, "yeah". But so much other music. Be aware that there are TWO TWO TWO different versions of this soundtrack. One that came out with the UK film (Pirate Radio) and one that came out with the US film (The Boat that Rocked). There are two extra tracks on the UK version- Pirate Radio (represented here). That is what I purchased on purpose. I also often buy UK versions of movies (Region 2) and keep my Computer set to Region 2. This allows me to get a hold of the UK film much sooner than the rest of the US. With the CD, there is no difference in region, so you can buy which ever one you want. I bought mine used off of Amazon US, cheaper with the shipping. Hope this helps.

Brings back memories
It brought back memories of our own pirate AM radio station years ago from just south of the border. The DJ was raspy-voiced Wolfman Jack who claimed he broadcasted at 250,000 watts, five times the legal limit in the U.S. Driving at night across the country, you could never be out of range of his station.
