Decent load rating for a light carabiner and at a reasonable price point. Not for critical use
Light weight modest size carabiner with decent load rating (assuming its true ) of 2700lbs all at a good price.This rating is much higher than many small steel screw lock links sold at hardware stores.Note this is not specified with a safety rating for climbing (UIAA) or similar safety ratings necessary for critical uses. Those safety rated products are batch tested and have conservative safety margins built into their rating.The locking feature on these units is useful for semi permanent installation.Rather than use my climbing carabiners on a rafting trip where they would be in the water a lot I bought these.

Solid looking 12 kN carabiners
Good 12 kN rated Carabiners. Bought them for a DIY project but unfortunately they were smaller than I thought - my mistake! They seem well built so I will keep them for another project.
