BC Footwear Women's Alamo Ankle Boot

great that i found these on amazon for about $20 cheaper than other sites. ordered the brown ones. when i first received them i admit i was a bit disappointed. the leather looked a bit lighter in color and more wrinkly (in a thinner, not weathered, way) than i expected. i pictured some heavy-duty thick leather like in those mens boots that these may be inspired by. in any case, i tried them on and they seemed to fit well. with some wedges after a period of wearing them, you realize there is no arch support and that you're basically standing/walking around on the balls of your feet which is really tiring. i half expected that to happen with these because of how high the wedge was...but it didn't! shockingly enough, my feet were not tired at the end of the day and i didn't feel like there was that much stress on the balls of my feet despite the angle. granted i wasn't walking around all day, just the usual commute (15 minute walk to subway station each way) and intra-office walking but still, these held up. the provide really good height for those longer bootcut or trouser jeans. i'm glad i got it for the amazon price. also like that there is a zipper for quick on and off but the laces work too so i can adjust the tightness around the ankle. overall a good purchase for fall.

These are a great find. Excellent arch support, beautiful craftsmanship and leather, cool style, extremely comfortable, zipper makes putting on and off easy. Have in two colors and very happy with purchase. Shoemania shipped fast through Amazon. Will look out for more by this company, BC.

This is a follow up to my original feedback.I was not satisfied with the condition of the product I received. After filing my claim Retail Giant contacted me by email and phone. They apologized for the condition of the product and refunded the entire amount of purchase. I am pleased with the outcome to this situation.

I really loved these boots but the material was not of good quality. Within several months, the material of the boot was so wrinkled and worn-looking that I had to throw them in the trash.

These are the most comfortable wedges I've ever had. It's a pity that I can't find them any more in a 6.5. I bought all four colours of them. Highly recommended!

It's so nice it's like you are wearing a sneaker! Good heel height and very trendy. Leather is soft and sturdy.

I have these boots in tan suede. I was positively surprised by the quality of the suede. I am not used to wearing any kind of heel, I almost always wear flats but these boots are so comfortable it's like walking on clouds, I wear them for hours very easily. They looked a little coarse at first when I got them out of the package but when I put them on with dark skinny jeans they made my legs slim, long and slender.
