Discover the perfect solution for starting seeds, propagating corms, or growing miniature plants with this 12-pack of 2.5-inch self-watering pots. Designed for small-scale setups, each pot features a double-layered construction that includes a semi-transparent inner cup and matching outer pot—making it easy to view both root development and water levels without disturbing your plants. The fine cotton wick system draws moisture from the base reservoir to maintain gentle hydration, ideal for tiny houseplants, sensitive cuttings, or compact root systems. Whether you're working with Alocasia or Oxalis corms, sowing carnivorous plant seeds, or dividing miniature African violets and small-leaf Hoyas, these pots provide the right size and environment for successful propagation. Watering is easy—just pour directly from the side into the spacious reservoir, no disassembly needed. The inner pot includes multiple bottom vent holes that allow airflow to roots and support healthy substrate conditions. When not in use as a pot, the detachable outer cup doubles as a handy watering can or scoop for soil and semi-hydro media like LECA and PON. Each set also includes 12 matching frosted plant tags made from durable semi-transparent plastic, perfect for labeling your cuttings, seedlings and corms. With built-in measurement marks, these pots help you monitor water volume precisely—ideal for growers who value both form and function. Review: Perfect for self-watering plants. I would recommend not using the self-watering feature immediately after repotting. Give your plants time to develop a strong root system first, then start adding water to the reservoir to avoid root rot in newly established plants. Also, be careful when using these pots during colder seasons, when plants receive less sunlight and temperatures are lower. I would love to see these pots available in larger sizes for bigger plants. Review: These work great for moving props out of water and into their first pots. The wicks keep the soil moist and you don’t have to worry about over watering or drainage since it’s a wicked bottom watering system. It’s simple and helps you when you have a million plants to take care of — I still always check with moisture meters to make sure no one needs an extra drink, but these do well. It’s hard to keep 2” pots moist, they dry out really quick. This system relieves that stress a bit. I currently only have to baby ferns using them, but they have been very happy! For being small and long, they are surprisingly stable, I believe the dirt and water holds it In Place pretty well.

I use these self watering pots for my African violets and they work great! They are easy to use and just the right size for my AV starter plants. Makes it easier to keep them watered. Would definitely recommend.

These are the perfect tiny self watering pots. I immediately planted half of this delivery with the neediest, small plants. I kind of wish they made this model in slightly larger sizes also but, these are wonderful nonetheless. I think this company has it figured out for rooting cuttings. Just fill to top and as water evaporates cutting should be rooted then just fill reservoir. With out a doubt this is a Best in Class pot.
