Lumie Bodyclock Glow 150 - Wake-up Light Alarm Clock with 10 Sounds and Sleep Sunset, White

I absolutely love this alarm. I’ve used this for one evening and one morning and I think this could be the best purchase I’ve made for myself. I work from home and I have been really struggling to get out of bed during winter, most mornings I don’t get up until quarter to 9. This morning, using the Lumie, I’ve managed to wake up at 5.40 with little struggle. I’ve been energised all day. I’ve been trying to push back my wake time for two months and suddenly this device seems to have fixed this in one evening. I was wide awake ten minutes before the sounds went off.I also love the sunset option. I felt so sleepy last night watching it dim. I really felt like it helped to relax me.The light / brightness is fantastic, especially for the morning. I also love the orange / red hues for the evening.The sound could probably be louder however it’s plenty loud enough for an early rise as it’s so quiet at that time in the morning. Could potentially be too quiet if you are working shifts and needed this for the day? However if you’re sensitive to light and you have blackout blinds, you won’t need the sound at all as the light will naturally wake you up.Ease of use will differ from person to person. I looked up their video guides on YouTube and found it very simple.Overall I really do recommend this. I can’t speak to how long it lasts but I’m really pleased.

I'm in love with my Lumie. Honestly I was so long thinking about it, bought several cheaper options from Amazon... trying to find a reason not to buy such an expensive sunrise clock. But the truth is, I should have bought this before. If you want quality and a very gentle wakeup which actually simulates a sunrise, go for the Lumie. All the other ones I had, there was nothing gentle about the wakeup. They went so quickly to super bright, which shocked me more than being relaxed when waking up.But the Lumie is a different level. I'm so happy I bought it. I absolutely love the sunset feature too and the sounds which come with it. I feel calm and fall asleep so easily now. And the waking up is amazing. It starts of in a very gentle dark red.. and really gradually and slowly gets brighter (to your desired brightness level). It's fantastic!! That's what I call a sunrise! Not a shock haha. And the smart feature, that the clock display brightness dims or shuts off in complete darkness, is a game changer too! You can keep it on low brightness, or make that it turns off completely.I just love my Lumie and have nothing negative to say at all. Fantastic piece of quality! Well worth the money.

This has replaced my faithful Lumie Bodyclock Sunray 100 which had started to burn through bulbs. Two nights in I’m really liking the Lumie Glow. The set up was very easy and its functionality is great. Identical in many respects to the Sunray, only with more sounds to choose from and a choice of sunrise/sunset lengths rather than just the one with the Sunray. There is still the need to press a button to activate alarm/sunrise and sunset every time, but I’m used to that having come directly from such an old model and it doesn’t both me. The sounds are ok too though I don’t use them for winding down, only waking. The volume they come in at is perfectly fine for an alarm at the end of the sunrise.With the buttons on the front of the clock, if the surface you put it on isn't completely dust free, the clock will slide back when pushed, the rubber on the bottom aren’t very grippy otherwise. The buttons are small, but the buttons to turn up and down the light, or change the time do have little raised bumps on them which I’ve had no trouble finding. And the alarm/sunrise and sunset buttons are right next to those. It hasn’t take long to suss out what’s where. It works great as a nightlight, and I love that the clock face is light sensitive. Activating a switch at the bottom of the clock, it turns off completely when the room goes dark a VAST improvement over the Sunray. Without the switch it still dims but doesn’t disappear completely at the end of sunset.The niggles. Firstly, if my phone it charging next to it, the clock flashes on an off. Secondly, given it is just an alarm clock with a dimmable light, Lumie are still very expensive for what they are. They look nice enough but they don’t feel of the quality the price tag suggests - the plastic feels quite cheap and lightweight. Thirdly, when setting the light levels on the alarm/sunrise, being blinded by the light wasn’t great I have to say. Surely it would make more sense to programme the default to the lowest level and purchasers can ‘increase’ to their desired brightness from there. Fourthly, with the snooze feature, there’s no need to dim the sunrise as well as the sound - there’s no benefit to that whatsoever.All that said though, I’m certainly happy with this model as a slightly more advanced version of the Sunray with a more pleasing array of sunset/sunrise colours and additional features I wanted such as the clock dim/off. If it lasts as long as my Sunray did, I shall be very happy indeed.

Bought this a few years back and still going strong. I like the light and alarm. Wish there was more sounds to choose from. The light alone does not wake me up.

Aesthetically pleasing, brightness ranging from orange to white. It does do the job to wake me up gently and better than my blaring phone alarm. It has an added feature with gentle selection of noises. The brightness is truly bright and will be sure to wake you up alongside noises. Very customisable to your preferences.Things I like:1. Sunset and sunrise mood and options2. Timer for sunset, 20/30/45 minutes so you do not need to get up to turn off the lights3. Overall modern look4. Very bright in full brightness mode5. Digital clock turns off to the light sensitivity of the room

The sunrise is good, it does work for me and it makes waking up gentle and easier. I like the light and the some of the sounds. The sunset feature is good but could do with being longer. I don't think this is worth the money, it feels cheap, light and plastic. It's so light that you have to counter balance with the other hand to press the buttons. It is confusing and doesn't have a snooze function. Save your money and try a different sunrise alarm! I think this is worth far less than what they are charging.

Been using over two years. Excellent product. It has no WiFi or radio signal so it does not disturb your sleep. Highly recommend

First things first, I had a Lumie Sunrise Alarm, which is the cheapest wake-up light alarm you can get from Lumie, and it was good but not perfect. The light on the Alarm was bright if it was facing you, but it did not light up the whole room and to me it just wasn't enough to wake me up! I reluctantly bought this alarm clock because of the how expensive it is, but the light was supposed to be brighter and I must say, it's very good! My room has never been so bright on a morning, sometimes I think I'm on a holiday in the tropics, and I'm waking up a lot more refreshed and ready to take on the day! One negative is some of the sounds are not the best, apart from the blackbirds, which is the one I use anyway so it doesn't affect me too much, but that could be something to bare in mind. The philosophy I always have is that you can't put a price on a good night's sleep, and this Alarm clock is definitely one of those gut-wrenching purchases at first when you see the price, but when you experience the benefits, it's money well spent; especially on the dark mornings which are currently looming ever closer!!
