I require the numbering to start at "1". Do all orders start at "1" or do the labels start at a random number?

Thank you very much for your enquiry. If you email us through the Amazon messaging system, we are happy to start the manufacturing at 1 for an order of 1000 labels or more. However, as all our labels carry unique serial numbers, never to be repeated to any customer for reasons of security, we need to request that you provide a prefix of 3 or more letters. So the numbering might start at BNH1 for example, followed by BNH2 and so on. A maximum of 8 characters per serial number is permitted.

Question 2

Is the adhesive acid free and suitable for art works?

Thank you for your enquiry. The adhesive is an aggressive, water-based one and this allows for the tamper-evident action of the labels. Although no acids are present, we would not recommend using these labels on the front of any artwork. Although they work well on a wide range of surfaces (plastic, metal, paper, card etc), we do not promote their use on canvas because of its porous nature. Customers do find them very effective, however, on the back of artwork (non-canvas) or on any paperwork relating to it. Please ask if you have further questions and we'll be happy to help.

If I order 1000 can I change the text on the label?

If you email us through the Amazon messaging system, we're very happy to make changes either to the text on the label, or to the serial numbers, for an order of 1000 labels or more. However, as all our labels carry unique serial numbers, never to be repeated to any customer for reasons of security, we need to request that you provide a prefix of 3 or more letters, please. So the numbering might start at BNH1 for example, followed by BNH2 and so on. A maximum of 8 characters per serial number is permitted. For changes to the text, please message us with the wording you require, ensuring that it is of a similar length to the original text. We'll work with that, and prepare an electronic proof for your approval. Thank you.
