Computed Tomography for Technologists: A Comprehensive Text

Just started reading and found it to be very easy to read. Good for review of previous course material and preparation for the boards.

So happy with this purchase! The seller shipped quickly and the product is exactly as described, meaning slightly dog eared in a few places. But, all pages in-tacked and in brand new condition! The best part is this book was less than half the price of the others listed on Amazon brand new. Highly recommend if your looking for a CT book to start studying for boards.

I recently passed my CT registry exam by a comfortable margin using this book and the Review book by the same author as my primary study curriculum. The only additional studying I did was on google to better understand vascular anatomy in diagrams and illustrations rather than in cross-section. I read this book in it's entirety minus the PET CT chapter as this was not relevant to the registry. The information was practical, concise, easy to understand, and explained concepts very well. A friend of mine used the Mosby curriculum to study for the CT exam. When I showed her my book, she said that this book was better. The review book is essential to pair with this book as it contains review questions that are not included in this comprehensive text. I wish I had found this book when I was first learning CT. I know it will be one I keep and reference in the future.

If you’re training in CT, get this book to learn the mechanical aspects of the machine and how it works. It explains it so well in a way that’s easy to understand. Thank you so much Lois! I love that the author is a CT Technologist so the textbook is understandable and well written. I love the key concepts on each page. So far I'm very happy with this purchase. I'm getting ready to enter into a CT Internship and I wanted to hit the ground running and I'm definitely glad I opted to begin with this textbook.

This soft cover book is for a class I needed to take for my job. I was not really looking forward to reading it, but it is surprisingly well written. It is not nearly as boring as you'd imagine. It is actually easy to read. It is worth the money. Excellent book.

Very expensive paperback book that is supposed to be in new condition, but delivered in plastic bag and now with banged up cover…which, fine whatever I need it now not later but geez…
