This thing is pretty neat. It comes with little rubber nubbers for the alligator clip teeth. I work with soft plastic and resin so it helps to not damage what I'm working on. It even comes with a few extra teeth covers for good measure. Evemodel is legit. Check out their replacement bases for Warhammer minis as well. Good stuff.

I needed this to paint the parts of model kit vehicles so that I don't have to hold the peces with my hands anymore and this item wasn't broken and nothing was missing.Its very handy tool to use for and it works with anything like model kit vehicles. Its not loose and the price is the best and affordable and its the same as the picture of the item and its very durability and stability and i like the detail of this item thats why Im giving this 5 stars rating.

As far as airbrush painting stands and clips go, these are one of the best values I have found that work exactly as intended. Clips are held in place with a perfect fit every time. Size wise they aren’t too large and not too small. Overall quality of the base is much better than others I have tried. I have purchased multiple of these on different occasions.

The alligator clips are larger, sturdier, and overall better than the ones you get in the packets with little clips and bamboo skewers that you need to assemble. Also, the clips come attached much more securely than can be accomplished with the bamboo ones without a special tool. And as an added benefit if you need it, they can be bent and have protective, removable covers for the alligator clip jaws.The first pic shows a comparison with the bamboo ones and also a demo of a bent metal one (from another set). The other pic is to show how wicked sharp I made them.The opposite end is squared off, i.e., not pointed. I ended up sharpening mine so I can use them with a block of styrofoam and have never used the block. When airbrushing, it's easier to take the piece you were just painting and jab it into a piece of styrofoam or whatever than to precisely insert into the base. I also have a set of unpainted metal ones, which also needed sharpening, and I think I like the black better (for what it's worth).Unfortunately, due to price, I only have the one set of these nice metal ones and, aside from the other five unpainted metal ones, I end up using a lot of the bamboo ones. Maybe the seller could start selling the stems and clips without the base? I think the problem with that is that, because they are metal, sharpened they could be dangerous (though in truth, no more so than the sharpened bamboo).

The stand is fantastic!! It makes airbrushing small parts so easy, no more need for paited fingers or wasting gloves.

Amazing for painting, small parts. I wish I’ve known about this before. Much better than double sided tape or Play-Doh.

Great for holding small parts

Package was delivered with no issues or damages. There is some assemble required in getting the rubber sleeves onto the clips, but that’s about as involved as that gets. The clip sticks actually click into their holes to remain rigid, otherwise they’re loose. The sticks feel very durable and the base doesn’t feel like it’s going to break from falling off a table. For the price that I paid for this, this was a great buy.The only thing the bugs me is that there’s not really any storage, outside of the packaging, for the extra sticks to be stored in. The clip stick feel easy to lose if you’re not paying attention.
