OCEANHUG Wall Mount Server Cabinet 6U,600mm deep Review: Very aesthetically pleasing - Worked great. Easy to install and makes all our Wi-Fi equipment look much more appealing. Review: 12U Rackmount case is like a TANK. - This 12U is a beast. It arrived in a very hefty box that is indicative of how robust this rack is. All the parts and pieces were there minus a latching bar for one of the side doors. When I opened this, there were screws floating all around the inside of the box, so I presume the latching bar got lost somewhere. I checked the box thoroughly and still have not found it... so no locking one of the side doors for now. The 2 small zip-lock like bags that hold the screws/tools were battered bad enough to rip holes open. One was completely empty and the other had a small hole and pieces were dribbling out when I removed it from the box. Prepare yourself for a build process with this. Everything, panels etc come flattened in the box to save space for the shipment. Everything is very well built as far as fabrication goes, and the metal casing of this rack is very heavy duty feeling. I could stand on this unit after being built and I don't think it would phase this. It comes with a very straight-forward instruction/assembly manual that has good illustrations of the parts and pieces during each step. It was fairly easy... One gripe I have was the "self tapping" screws that were the medium size screws, were very resistive going into place. I had a power screw driver and these screws were almost like rethreading the holes. FORGET USING THE INCLUDED SCREWDRIVER/allen wrench. Get a good driver that is the right size. I like the build quality of this rack as it's nice and sturdy. It's definitely a server rack variety for some industrial type of configurations. The size is quite large for the 12U, as is tall... 12 units high. This has an opening port on the top and bottom which will be good for stacking these if you needed to run cabling between multiple units. It's very functional in the sense of doing what a good rack can do. I definitely wouldn't use this as a travel rack for your gig people, but for home studios, servers etc, this is great. The fans are average fan noise of course, and I suspect the robust build quality is proportional to the value and cost. I removed a star because of the screw bag being in shreds and missing the latch bar that goes behind the lock. Comes with 4 spare keys, and plenty of extra screws for mounting your rackmount gear. I like that there are included shelves, because although I do have other rackmount type of power conditioners, they don't have mounting "wings" or "ears" that I can mount with, so these shelves are great. One of the rack shafts was slightly bent just bit, but this isn't going to affect anything. Overall I am very impressed and I find this to be a quality piece of equipment.

Nice and Secure
This thing is a tank! I love the build quality. It was definitely well made, and made to last. When first getting this, i noticed from the beginning just how heavy the box was. With a little bit of time and patience I had it assembled and ready to go. Its nice being able to store all of our networking components in one secure cabinet. It looks very nice and professional as well. We are still building server, but so far it has added a very nice starting point for us.

Decent (if shallow) rack, but very overpriced at $260 for 12U
Assembly was relatively easy, and I'm happy with the build quality, except for the lockable sides and door which are a little bit flimsy. The locks are a nice feature, but I feel confident I could easily get past those with just a bit of force. As others mentioned in their reviews, this thing is NOT very deep. I don't know if I'll be able to use it for what I was planning, it'll be a tight fit if I do. Also, $260 for this feels very expensive, and looks to be around $100 over the price of other similar options.

Looking for a strong, and easy to build server cabinet?
Looking for a strong, and easy to build server cabinet? The Oceanhug 12U Wall Mount Server Cabinet with A Lockable Front Vented Door is a sturdy and well designed cabinet. The rack easily and sturdily holds my patch panel, switches, and servers. The build process is straightforward, but helped substantially by viewing the installation video on Amazon store webpage. The rack comes with additional shelves, so I used one of those to hold our backup broadband modem. The rack has vented sides that help one of my switches to blow the warm air out the left side easily. The front door is lockable if desired. Overall, if you are looking for sturdy well built cabinet, then this one might work for you also. Recommended

Built Really Well, Packaging Could Be Better
This 12U Wall Mount Server Cabinet with A Lockable Front Vented Door, Cooling Fans, Removable Side Panels - 45cm Depth, 19" Network Rack Including 2 PCS Full-Size Rack Shelves for IT Equipment is built really well of strong steel. The black finish is good on the outside, with a few blemishes on the inside. All the pieces were in the box. It took about an hour and a half to carefully assemble the unit. It had just enough of each fastener to do the job. There are two bags of small parts. One is for mounting things to the rack after assembly. The other has all you need for assembly, plus four beefy wall anchors and four wood screws that are not mentioned in the assembly instructions. It is clear where the wall anchors would go, but the wood screws don't fit the large hols in the mounting bracket, so they are a little confusing. Unfortunately, at least one of the wood screws escaped the bag and rattled around in the packaging scratching up one of the side panels. The locks on both side panels work well. The lock on the front panel was bent up such that it was difficult to lock and unlock. I bent it back straight and it works well now. The two fans work and are loud. They are AC fans so they only run one speed. I might replace them with temperature controlled DC fans. The two shelves are a nice touch. The instructions buried the information to assemble the vertical mounting rails on the third screw hole in a note at the bottom of the page. I wound up reinstalling them so the shelves could go on, which took about 10 extra minutes. Otherwise the instructions were clear. This is quite heavy and there are exposed screws on the bottom, so if you want to set it on a table instead of wall mounting, you will have to find some feet and get them attached. If you want to carry this, there are no handholds on the sides, but you can remove the side panels to carry it. Overall this is quite good. If the packaging was improved so parts did not escape and cause damage, it would get 5 stars.
