This product is great and fits in my hand perfectly. I use it to separate dough and cut cheese, it also works great for scooping up piles of veggies to drop in the pot. It is well worth the money I paid for it. It cleans up easy.

The OXO Good Grips Stainless Steel Scraper & Chopper is quite a workhorse. The no-slip grip handle is comfortable and necessary. The stainless steel blade is sturdy without being too sharp, so no worries about accidentally nicking your fingers. It breezes through soft stuff like dough, cheese, or pastry. It has a built-in measure marker. It runs along the base of the blade, allowing you to measure out perfect increments, from 1/4 inch right up to 6 3/4 inches. This little gadget's been with me for over a decade. I still use it multiple times a week. I use it to cut bread dough and pastry, scrape the sticky dough off of my cutting board, transfer cut-up fruit to a bowl, as well as transfer diced and sliced veggies to the stove. I'm sure, there might be other brands out there with a tempting price tag, but I trust OXO products and their quality is hard to beat.

I'm not always in a hurry to buy new "gadgets" and I tend to wait out that urge to get something. I bake a lot of bread and I've been living with a plastic spatula for a long time. I didn't think I really needed a special tool for this job. However, my spatula is wearing out and my bread making has gotten fancier so I figured it was time to step up with a real dough scraper. Oxo makes good tools especially for someone with small or weak hands. I was a bit concerned that this scraper had too sharp an edge for what I wanted it to do as I work right on my kitchen counter, but I do like Oxo's tools and I have several of them in my kitchen drawers from peelers to openers. I knew that it would be a quality piece even before I bought it so I went ahead and picked this one. I'm very pleased with it overall. It has some weight to it over my plastic spatula, but it's well balanced. The handle is oval-shaped so it fits right into the grip of my hand and feels natural. The edge is sharp enough to cut dough into portions but not so sharp that I feel like I'm going to get cut using it. The sharp corners don't seem to be a problem as the handle/grip gives me great control. I also like the little ruler/markings though they're a bit hard to see in my kitchen's lighting. I had no problem with the dough sticking to it either. One last point that isn't really a deal breaker/maker is the way that Oxo packages this tool. I didn't have to fight this thing out of it's package. It came with a tab that simply pulled open the shell. This makes me feel good about Oxo's commitment to making products that are very helpful to people that have a problem with small hands, arthritis or a weak grip. This simple little packaging consideration made me feel that they really care.

Not a day goes by that I don’t reach for this essential tool. It’s the third hand that any cook needs. Great for scooping, cutting, measuring, etc. Much sturdier (and more attractive) than similar plastic ones.

This scraper is one of those small kitchen tools you don’t realize you need until you have it. It’s sturdy, comfortable to hold, and the edge is perfect for scraping cutting boards, countertops, dough, and stuck-on bits without scratching anything. I use it all the time for cleaning up flour or food scraps and pushing everything straight into the trash. The grip feels solid (classic OXO) and it’s easy to rinse clean. Nothing fancy, but it works exactly how it should and feels well made. If you cook or bake even a little, this is one of those tools that just makes cleanup easier.

This scraper and chopper does exactly what you want it to. It’s solid and feels like good quality — the blade is sharp and sturdy, and the handle is comfortable to hold. I’ve used it for chopping veggies, scraping dough, and even lifting cookies off the tray. It’s simple but really versatile, and cleaning is easy since it goes straight in the dishwasher. Definitely useful to have in the kitchen and a good price for what you get. Would recommend to anyone who cooks regularly.

Good quality, easy to use but the blade is very blunt. I would prefer a sharper blade to cut into doughs, however it is excellent in collecting veggies from cutting board or counter top.

If you’ve used OXO products before, then it is almost guaranteed, that you too, are slowly (or quickly) switching out all of your miscellaneous kitchen utensils for OXO ones. Without fail, their products deliver a sturdy hand feel and high quality workmanship. And they’re built to last. I have quite the collection of OXO storage containers, whisks, ladles and gadgets— and they are consistently the first ones I reach for. This chopper is no exception. I bought this one specifically because I was having trouble slicing my Chrissy Teigen armadillo bread after the bottom crust hardens during baking. None of my knives were thick enough to push through the bread but also allow me to push from the top, and the pizza cutter made a mess. This thing has been fabulous! I also use it when making buttermilk biscuits, to separate the dough and layer it a dozen times. Also great for quickly cleaning off a cutting board. The edge is sharp, but not knife sharp. Nor would I want it to be. It’s just sharp enough to make slicing easy for awkwardly large items. Handle has a rubberized coating, which is useful when cutting buttery yummies.
