I really like this pomade! It gives great hold and helps keep hairstyles in place without making the hair feel hard or sticky. It adds a nice smooth finish and works well for controlling frizz and flyaways. The scent is pleasant and the product lasts a long time because only a small amount is needed. Great quality and easy to wash out too!

I have bought this product many times here on Amazon, which of course they mention when you search it. But what I didn't know is that the jar size is almost half the size as before, going from 4 oz. to 2.3 oz., and they lowered the price by $3. I do really like this gel, as it has a slight scent only and it doesn't linger, and it works well for my hair. Just an FYI that it's smaller.

I was a little skeptical at first because other pomades I’ve tried in the past ended up making my hair look a little flaky or crusty, or sticky, but not with this one! I purchased after seeing a lot of recommendations for it by those who do vintage hairstyles, and I really like this. A little bit goes a very long way. For reference, I have very fine thin hair that goes just past my shoulders, and a pea sized amount was more than enough to spread through my hair to define the curls and get rid of frizzyness. The formula melts nice in your fingers and is tacky but not sticky. I also tried it on my natural hair without the curlers. My natural hair is straight on top, wavy underneath, and slightly frizzy on top of my hair. When I spread a little bit on, I really liked the way it made my hair look. It gave my length some shine, and tamed the frizzyness on top, and made me feel like my wavy hair and straight hair mix looked more…cohesive? It just looked nice and put together. Especially when I went outside. I live it a very hot humid climate, and my hair still looked great.

It keeps my hair smooth and in place all day without feeling sticky or heavy. The scent is amazing, and it gives my hair a beautiful shine and soft waves. A little goes a long way, and it washes out easily too. Definitely one of the best hair products I’ve tried! Highly recommend!

my three stars is not for the product. The product is great and deserves five stars actually. The reason I’m giving a 3 star is I ordered this product previously and bookmarked it so I could order it again. Well I ordered it again and got it in the mail and it’s half the size that it was last year. Now I get that times are rough(inflation) and I should’ve checked the listing myself but going from a 4 ounce to a 2.3 ounce is pretty steep. So I just wanted to give all y’all the heads up in case you were thinking it was gonna be that big size the customer reviews show. It is not and it is half that now. Otherwise this is a wonderful product and compared how things cost at target I still don’t think it’s a bad price for the product. Mostly just wanted to warn y’all.

I am so late to the pomade game, but after I saw the viral TikTok many of us saw about what pomade can do for all types of hair, I decided to give it a try and am so glad that I did. You can see from these video stills that it doesn't at all make my hair greasy or stiff. I chose this brand because everyone in the comments section of TikTok was raving about it and I figured, they must all be on to something. Pros: - Smells DIVINE. I wish they made a perfume in this scent - it's such a gorgeous floral fruity fragrance and I love smelling it throughout the day in my hair. Not at all overpowering, just enough to want to lean in and sniff. - You only need the tiniest bit; one tub will last you awhile - Allows me to mold my bangs exactly how I want; bend in a certain direction, lay in a certain direction, etc. - Fights cowlicks - Tames flyaways and makes your hair so shiny Cons: - If you use it throughout all of your hair, you won't be able to go as long between washes as you may normally. It is more prone to build-up - that's why I mainly only use this for my bangs and the very ends of my hair. Highly recommend giving this a try.
