Canning Tools (Canning Funnel)

My tongs that I inherited from my Mom's kitchen finally fell apart, literally, after 30-something years. I bought these after trying some unsuitable replacements. These are GREAT, I would buy them again if I ever needed another pair. Thanks for a product well made!

I love this style of tongs. My old ones wore out after a few decades so I got this one which is just like it, but new. They are sturdy and hold up and nothing picks up a piece of bacon in the pan like these do.

I like that this one tool takes the bubbles out of the jar and the magnetic end pick ups the lids without burning your fingers.

I expected a jar lifter. It’s a little different, thicker rubber in the ends. I open the instructions and there is a series of pictures of a, ahem, shaft, with instructions in Chinese. I was confused so I asked my daughter if it was what I thought was after we had some, and she discovered the English instructions. It apparently is thick for you to I’m, lengthen and thicken your shaft. We had a great laugh and now I’m not so sure I want to use it. I’m thinking it’ll be a great gag gift.

Bought this to use for removing canning lids and rings from very hot water. Works like a charm! No more scalded fingertips!
