At home learning kit
Great starter kit for the price Bought this acrylic nail kit to try doing my nails at home. Everything I needed was in the box - powders, monomer, brushes, tips, and tools. The powder applied smoothly and didn’t have a crazy strong smell compared to others I’ve tried. Took me a bit to get the hang of it, but after 2 tries my nails looked decent. Good value if you’re just starting out. Would recommend for beginners Perfect kit for learning acrylics at home

Fun.
It was fun for my 11 year old daughter. But low quality product. Thought to play around it’s fun.

Best learning kit
Best learning kit. Had these nails on for 3 1/2 weeks now!

Don't buy!
Absolutely terrible! Terrible products! Acrylic does not harden, it's like gelly on the nail, base and top coat are not even half full and have hard consistency, sticky. None of the acrylics work, no matter what I tried, they do not harden. Don't buy! Better to spend more money for better products than waisting money on this.

A long, super detailed & HONEST review. Here's everything you need to know about this kit-
I imagine that when this set was getting put together, a (very generous) person was standing in front of a table filled with all sorts of nail stuff and as they filled the box they kept saying things like ‘This too!’ or ‘Definitely one of these’ over and over again. That's because this set has A TON of stuff in it- way more than any of the other nail kits I have ever tired. This isn't a random set though. Everything that's listed in the description is included and, as soon as you open the box there is a full (colorful) list of every single item too. There's just no denying that this is, by far, the biggest nail kit I've ordered from this platform with the biggest variety of stuff. What about the quality? Well, let me put it this way- everything in here is usable and useful especially for nails (of any kind, not just acrylic) done at home. There are some things that definitely could be used in an upscale, professional salon and other things that are better suited for at home practice/use. One thing is certain though… At just $50, this kit is a nail lover's dream come true and an EXCELLENT value overall! ⭐️ARRIVAL & UNBOXING⭐️ This set arrived super quick. The semi large, colorful (pink and white), glossy branded box was sealed shut on arrival (a good thing too because the box is stuffed full!). The box makes for excellent storage, so I'm glad it's nice and durable. When you lift the lid, everything is neatly organized inside (not just tossed in). Everything is brand new and in sealed packages, sealed cellphone bags or boxes. You will immediately notice the unmistakable odor of acrylic powder when you open the box (even though the jars weren't broken or leaking- they are all sealed and in a packages of their own). But going through all of this is, without a doubt, a super fun treat and very exciting! Along with the long list of what's included, you get a colorful and helpful instruction guide (with photos). The guide is actually quite helpful, especially for a beginner! I'm not going to go through each individual product here, but I will touch on the main components and mention anything else I feel is noteworthy. ⭐️THE ACRYLIC POWDER⭐️ You get three (3) 20g jars of acrylic powder- one white, one clear and one that's a light bubble gum pink color. The jars are on the smaller side (especially for a ‘professional’ jar), but all are labeled with the Sweet Trend name and logo. The powder is actually decent quality. It's very fine and smooth with a consistent texture. It's easy to pick up with a brush (more on brushes later) and I really haven't experienced any issues with marbling or air bubbles. It cures well and is pretty easy to file. It has a medium setting time, which is great for experienced techs and also for beginners. For the most part, this acrylic doesn't turn yellow that quick (especially in the sun), but the clear does turn yellow before the white or pink (no surprise there though). The acrylic is strong, but other (better quality, more expensive) powders are more flexible. It has decent adhesion, but unless you really know what you are doing, the adhesion isn't really super long lasting. With the unmistakable odor of acrylic hitting you in the face when you open the box, it's not surprising that the powders are quite strong smelling when working with them. You definitely want to work in a well ventilated area, with a mask and, if you have one, with a dust collector. You get a small (also sealed) 2.12oz bottle of monomer that works well with the acrylic (as well as other acrylic powders and the acrylic powders work well with other monomers too). It also has a slight odor. You get a perfect little glass dapen dish too. It's sturdy and solid, so it's hard to knock over. I've used a ton of other acrylic powders before (both expensive and cheap) and I'm honestly impressed at how this acrylic performs. It's not the best stuff ever, but for the lower price point (I'm assuming), it is definitely one of the better ones. It's beginner friendly and easy to work with, but I wouldn't call it ‘professional’ quality. The thing that actually bothers me the most about this kit is that there aren't ingredients anywhere for anything! I have a background in chemistry and always read every formulation carefully, but that's not possible here as we have no ingredients for the acrylic, monomer, any of the polishes or even the cuticle oil (which comes in it's own separate box and I actually like it…a lot). It would have been awesome to have another page in the box with the ingredient lists for everything or even space in the instruction guide, but there's NO ingredient lists anywhere here and that's a bit of a bummer. You also get 18 small containers of carving powder in all different colors. The powder is fun to work, works well with the included monomer and is actually pretty easy to sculpt. While the clear jars are small, the power is super fine, so there's A LOT in each jar! These are totally pro quality! ⭐️THE POLISHES, GLUE & REMOVER⭐️ In another durable, resealable plastic bag we have seven (7), 10ml bottles of polish/dehydrator. The black, durable plastic bottles have a Sweet Trend label, but again no ingredients. The dehydrator (1 bottle) works phenomenally. I actually want to buy another large bottle because I love it and it doesn't smell at all. The base coat has a semi strong odor, but it lays down well, self levels and is easy to use. The top coat was WAYYYY too thick upon arrival and needed to be thinned out…a lot. While it levels well, cures nice and leaves a glossy finish on the nail, it's far from my favorite top coat. You then have 3 different gel polish colors… 04 is a light pink, 05 is a cool toned periwinkle and 06 is a warm toned coral red. While the color selection is random, I like these polishes quite a bit. They go on smooth, self level, cure well and they don't chip. Yes, there is a bit of warmth during the curing process (especially with a stronger light), but nothing uncomfortable. The brushes in all the bottles are on the longer side, thin and cut straight, but they aren't terribly stiff or streaky. Aside from the top coat, I absolutely could see all the dehydrator and polishes being used in a professional salon. You get 10 small (average) sized bottles of nail glue too. The glue is generic, but it's phenomenal! It holds crazy well. There's also a small, 10ml bottle of glue remover which actually works pretty well, but it's not a magic eraser. I would definitely buy more of both the glue and remover for sure! ⭐️BRUSHES & ACCESSORIES⭐️ In a cellophane bag that's inside the larger, plastic bag with the silicone, you get 3 different acrylic brushes- a 6, 10 and 12. They are branded, but the handles are (pink) plastic and kinda cheap feeling. They are lightweight and comfortable to hold though. The shocking part is that they actually work quite well! They have a perfect shape, a nice, full belly and a great taper. They are oval shaped and the bristles have a decent snap. I don't know for a fact if the bristles are 100% Kolinsky, but they sure do behave and feel like it! The brushes don't shed and the ferrule is double crimped, stable and holds up to the monomer well. They are easy to clean too. I actually like these brushes quite a bit to be honest. They are great to work with and are very beginner (and pro) friendly, but the light weight, cheap plastic handle is the only thing that kinda gets me. Are they my favorite brushes?- No. But they are HEAPS better than any others that I've received in a kit like this and a thousand times better than what I would have expected. There is another, durable, thick plastic bag (perfect for storing the brushes) that contains 15 different nail art brushes. You get EVERY kind of brush you can imagine in here- 2 fan brushes, long, short, angled, thin, thick…you name it, plus a small dotting tool. Just like the acrylic brushes, these have fantastic fibers, get the job done well (they are even helpful for modeling your own acrylic charms/pieces) and they are durable. While these handles are plain/not branded, they are the same, cheap feeling plastic. I mean…I get it. This kit would cost a ton more if all these brushes had spectacular handles, but it's weird because the bristles are good quality! Really, my only complaint about any of the brushes is the handles! Finishing up with the brushes, there's a new (packaged) dust brush. It's 4.25” total- with the handle and ferrule measuring 2.75” and the rest bristles. The handle is an inch in diameter and slightly tapered at the bottom. The bristles are soft, the brush is pleasant to use and gets the job done, but it is light-weight and feels a bit cheap. Still, I can't complain because it works well. ⭐️NAIL TIPS, DUAL FORMS & NAIL FORMS⭐️ In another sealed bag, there are two (somewhat flimsy) plastic trays (with covers) containing the forms and tips. The tips are opaque white (not clear) and long coffin shaped. There's 100 here in 10 different sizes- each size numbered/embossed on the underside of the nail. These are NOT the flimsy, cheap plastic tips that bend and break easy. These tips have great structure and they are very durable. I like them a lot because they have a nice apex, but it's built up on the nail, not super curved on the underside (but they aren't super thick though). For me this is important because you don't have to build up an apex on your nail first before putting these on. They fit well, they are easy to file, they are durable and they stay on great! The tips do have that little nub at the top (that connected them to the stalk during manufacturing) that needs to be filed down. It's different that these are white but I really like them…a lot. I could absolutely see these used in a salon and I would like to order more for myself. The dual forms are clear, long and square with a pretty high C curve (and high apex). They are durable, easy to work with, super fun to pop off and they are totally reusable. They have a textured (on the outside) grid shaped pattern marking the apex which helps with structure, alignment and helps show the length of the free edge. This grid pattern is definitely helpful for beginners, however there are no length guidelines to follow. While I appreciate that the dual forms were included in the kit, there are no clips! You need clips with dual forms (for curing right). I also prefer to use them with polygel (which is also not included) rather than acrylic. Since we do have clips and polygel, these aren't going to waste. There is a stack of 100 standard nail forms as well. They are easy to use, stick well and have a nice guide for length. ⭐️THE LAMP/LIGHT⭐️ Protected in a plastic bag is the 36 watt UV lamp. Like the handles on the brushes, the outer surface is pink plastic and branded with the Sweet Trend name and logo. There is a basic led countdown timer on the outside as well as 3 easy to push, white buttons. It's a bit difficult to see but the buttons are labeled- 30, 60 and 90 seconds. The lamp has a 32” (black) USB power cord. The underside is white (plastic) and has 3 groups of 4 lights and 2 groups of 3 lights around the curve. The light is 7” wide x 7” long and about 2.5” high. It's lightweight and easy to move. It's not huge, but it's large enough for a whole hand or foot. The light IS automatic (yea!) so it turns on by itself as soon as something slides underneath it. I have a lot of different lights (big and powerful, small and portable, heavy, light, UV and LED). This light does take a bit longer for curing (as UV usually does), but it does work well. I use this light quite a bit because it's so easy (not bulky). I don't want to sound ungrateful because there's a TON on this kit already, but seeing how this is a UV light, a pair of UV gloves would have been a nice/welcome addition. ⭐️THE DRILL⭐️ This comes in it's own box and while the box is generic, the drill itself is branded. In a pull out tray you have the drill itself, which is 4.25” long and just under .75” wide. It's small but very comfy to hold and handle. There's a clear box with 6 different drill bits and 6 bands with different grits. There's a big bag with 50 more course bands. In its own case, there's also a 3/32” umbrella bit. The 46” USB power cord has a box on it that has the controls for the speed and the direction of the drill. The drill is advertised as 30,000 RPM (which is absolutely professional quality). This isn't a terrible or weak drill by any means, but I don't think it's 30k. I feel like it's closer to 20 or 25K. That says, it still works with the acrylic. And yes, there are instructions. ⭐️OTHER TOOLS⭐️ You get so much here that it's impossible to list everything. There are 2 sets of clippers that work well, sanding blocks, files, buffers, tweezers, cuticle cutters (which are really nice!), a really nice dotting tool AND two practice fingers. The fingers bend and are great to work with, but they are a bit small. You have absolutely EVERYTHING you need here for anything nail (acrylic or not) related. I'm quite pleased with the quality of some of the tools actually. They aren't cheap but they aren't mind blowing either. ⭐️DECORATIONS GLAORE⭐️ Finally, we have the nail art. We get several small jars of glitter- in all different sizes, shapes and colors. There's a 12 section case with a variety of rhinestones (silver) as well as gold and silver beads and pearls- in various sizes. Finally, there's 3 sheets (butterflies, lilacs and purple and pink flowers) of stickers (they are not the water transfers…thankfully). Each sheet has at least 30 stickers. ⭐️VALUE & FINAL THOUGHTS⭐️ Overall I'm extremely impressed with this kit! You get so much stuff- literally everything you could want or need to do nails immediately. The biggest surprise for me is the overall quality. Sure, there are some things that are basic, but I wouldn't say anything here is cheap junk. The only thing I really wish I had here is a list of ingredients for the products. That's the only thing missing. At $50, you absolutely can't go wrong with this kit! Even if you bought these things separately (and chose the cheapest junk), you couldn't get all this for $50. This is a steal! This is perfect for beginners, at home manis (and pedis), it's excellent for practice and there's tons of stuff for professional salons too. This kit is a TOTAL WIN and by far the most impressive (and comprehensive) nail kit I've ever used!

Great set that truly has everything you need
This is an amazing starter set, and the label does not lie, it comes with everything you need for both acrylics and gels. It's basic in that it does not give you a lot of colors to choose from, but it covers all your bases in terms of learning how to use and apply the materials, and even the consumable accessories for nail art like tapes and stickers so you can explore. For someone who is just learning, I think this is better value than just getting a kit with a bajillion colors of gel, but only gel.

I liked it old and unusable
This set is a joke. The product does not cure under the LED light the polishes are thick and gunky. The nail clipper was unusable due to what it's supposed to hold it together it was clearly not molded right. And the practice fingers plastic that doesn't even hold the nail properly and you have to find something to stick it on. Cheap although it's for a child save your money and find better
