Perfect for those times I need a null modem gender changer
While most current computer peripherals interface using USB, I have some older devices from the days of RS-232 that use DB9 connectors. I got these null modem adapters so that I can still use those older devices with an USB to RS-232 interface cable. While not something I encounter every day, these handy devices allow me to continue using my older peripherals and save me the cost of replacing them. something I appreciate. They mate perfectly with other DB9 connectors and I'm pleased with this product.

Perfectly fine
I ordered two female to female 9-pin gender changers, and by golly, that's what I received. If I had any issues it would be the configuration for the thumbscrew retention. The way these are made you can't use them at a device, they have to be in a cable, but that wasn't a surprise at all.
