This stand was very easy to put together, which I appreciated. The wood tray looks nice and works well for holding books or a laptop. That said, it doesn’t get as short as the pictures suggest, and it’s not as stable as I expected for a standing desk, especially when fully extended. Adjusting the height also isn’t very smooth and takes some effort. The desktop option is nice. Overall, it’s functional for light use like reading or holding sheet music, but if you’re looking for a very stable, frequently adjustable standing desk, this may fall a bit short.

I bought this stand mainly to use from bed with a laptop, and while it’s a decent piece overall, some of the product photos are misleading. One photo suggests the base can slide mostly under a bed so the tray hovers over you like a hospital tray table, and also shows the main support attached off to one side of the tray. That isn’t possible. The support post is fixed in the center of the wheel base and can’t be repositioned. In addition, a couple of other photos make both the main tray and the secondary tray look much larger than they actually are. The listed measurements seem accurate, but don’t rely on the photos alone to judge usable space. Assembly was mostly straightforward. The wheels were a little tedious to install, but not difficult, and the rest went together easily. Once assembled, it looks nice and feels reasonably sturdy for lighter use. The main tray barely fits a standard laptop, and if you plan to use a mouse, you’ll need the lower tray or another surface. The height and tilt adjustments are useful, though the tilt doesn’t lock down extremely tight, so I wouldn’t trust it with much weight. One feature I really like is the small movable runner bars at the edge of the tray — they’re sturdy and handy for holding pages open, keeping loose paper in place, or helping prevent a tablet from sliding off. Overall, it’s versatile in real-world use: good for recipes, sheet music, books, light laptop work, or as a rolling side table. It just didn’t work for the one reason I bought it — working from bed — because it can’t get close enough to allow proper overhang. Useful stand, just be aware the photos oversell both size and bed-use capability.
