I received the order the second time around - the first shipment arrived damaged and was immediately returned. Amazon was wonderful to ship a prompt replacement - which also arrived with damage! However, this time it was small and on the back side of the chest, so we decided to keep it! You never know what might happen the third time around! Love the Bombay chest; handsome, well made, unusual; no real assembly! Sorry I had to go through the hassle, but in the end it was worth it! D.

I bought this for my dining room for tablecloths, napkins, etc. it is a nice size. Just right for small places. It has 3 drawers with good sliders and roomy for your stuff. I looked around for awhile to find this chest. It was available on other sites for significantly more money. This one looks like the others with a price tag that’s reasonable and free shipping. Also packed well for it’s travel to you.

I love the shape and style of this cabinet. The color, paint and words are nicely done. We needed a nightstand for my daughter's room, and this is the perfect height and size. It's a bit wider than normal nightstands, but it gives her a lot of room to store things. It arrived well packaged and in excellent condition. All I needed to do was put the feet on the cabinet with two screws for each foot. They include the correct size allen wrench with the packaging. The drawers are on metal guides and removable. The drawers open with ease if you use both drawer pulls. When we used only one pull, the top drawer got hung up on us a couple times.

The chest arrived on time and was VERY well packed. Assembly was quick & easy. And it looks quite charming in my dining room!

First chest was delivered by UPS and the box looked like it had dry rot, it was just flaking away and several holes in it. No packing of any kind. We got the chest out only to discover a huge hole in the side. Did the return on line and requested a replacement. Within 2 days we got the second chest. Box was good, no visible damage. There was a ton of packing and styrofoam around the chest. Removed it from the box and it is BEAUTIFUL! We did have to removed the middle drawer to get the legs out of the bottom drawer because that drawer would not open, it is packed solid with a box containing the legs and more styrofoam. Each drawer has metal runners to keep them on track, makes sliding easy and prevent them from falling out, but also makes them tricky to reinsert. If not in the track correctly, the drawer will look lopsided and hard to open and close. Turned the chest over, attached the four legs with two screws each and assembly completed. It really is a great looking piece of furniture if you can get it delivered intact.

I needed a small accent piece for my living room and this looked like the perfect addition. It arrived on time, was easy to assemble (feet) & I was 100% right- it is perfect! I love it. It looks exactly like the picture, it's very sturdy and really nice.

looks classy and great on the foyer. product is solid and high quality. packaged really well protected with lots of cushion, came in damaged free. the only thing I'm not too crazy about is too many words scattered all over but it's subtle enough so I can live with it.

Chest was very pretty was built very well, was heavy but it was damaged I was very disappointed really liked the chest, but I had to box it up and take it to the ups. It was so much trouble..
