That is important to me. The flavor is sweet and light on the strawberry, but it is there. I added a little more powder than recommended and after trying it in cold water, I added cream to it because it wasn't good in water. I would suggest adding this to milk for a strawberry milk. I will try the pistachio flavor and see how that tastes. I hope the flavor is more pronounced than this one since it costs $2 more. If not, I won't be as positive in my review. Keep in mind it is very sweet so if you lighten up the amount, you won't get much strawberry flavor either and to be honest I don't taste any rice flavor at all, and this doesn't thicken up without milk. I would suggest adding more rice and more strawberry powders to whoever makes this.

Good but not perfect
