Good for dusty environments, just be careful
Since I shoot alot of astrophotography and macro stuff with my Sony a6100, I'm constantly swapping out manual prime lenses, often outdoors or in the woods. Because of that, my sensor is a magnet for dust. I was hesitant to try a jelly stick instead of traditional swabs, but it actually works pretty well. You just have to make sure you use very light pressure. It picked up a couple of stubborn specks that were visable in my sky shots at f/8. It's a handy tool to keep in the camera bag, especially when I'm out camping off the Mountain Loop Highway.

Useful, but best used carefully
This is the kind of camera tool that can be useful, but it also calls for a careful hand. It was tested on a mirrorless camera sensor that had a couple of visible dust spots showing up at smaller apertures, and it did pick up loose dust better than just blowing air around. The gel tip is simple to use in concept, and for light debris it can help without dragging a dry swab across the sensor. That said, sensor cleaning is one of those jobs where confidence in the tool matters a lot. I would still be cautious and use this only for minor dust rather than expecting it to solve every sensor issue. For experienced camera users who are comfortable cleaning their own equipment, it may be worth having as part of a kit. Beginners or anyone nervous about touching a sensor may be better off sticking to safer first-step methods or professional cleaning.
