womens Wescott Gingham Playsuit Black/White

I picked up the Princess Polly Wescott Playsuit in Black and White Gingham hoping for that perfect "summer dressy" look, and while the piece itself is absolutely darling, the fit was a bit of a struggle for me. I’m 5'6" and 210 lbs, and since the Size 12 was the largest size they offered, I decided to give it a shot. Unfortunately, it ran at least one full size too small. If you have a curvy build like mine, I cannot stress this enough: order a size up from your regular size. ​The material is actually really nice—it’s light, breathable, and doesn't feel cheap—but the cut just didn't quite favor my body type. I originally thought this was going to be more of a beachy summer dress, so I was surprised to find out it’s actually a romper with shorts. While the back view wasn't half bad, the front view looked a little silly on my curves and the length was much shorter than I anticipated. ​I’m giving this 3 out of 5 stars because the quality and the style are definitely there, but the sizing is just too restrictive for anyone who isn't on the smaller side. It’s a very cute outfit, just make sure you have the room to size up so you don't end up disappointed with the fit!

I got this for my daughter and she absolutely loves it. She claims it fits well all around because of its stretchy but snug material. It is very easy to style and you can wear it in the summer and winter with different layering.

It’s cute for someone just not on me. I wish it had more shape to it. Unfortunately it’s boxy. Which is weird because the material at the top should cinch you in a bit but it doesn’t. I also feel like the top isn’t as low cut as listed but maybe I’d need a bigger size would give that look?? Also the shorts are really flowy. They cover everything but the right breeze will have my cheeks out! The zipper was easy to use on my own considering the placement.

I'm not sure how I feel about this outfit. I like how it fits in the top half, it hugs your bust area just right. The bottom half is where I dislike this outfit. The legs are too flowy, too short, and does nothing to help with shaping your body. I feel like this gives me a boxy look. I think this style might work for someone with a smaller frame. I'm 180 lbs, wear a medium/large depending on the fit. This was a size 10.

This summer romper is adorable. I'm 5'2, 128 lbs, 27 inch waist, with broad shoulders (36 shoulder measurement, I think. 34 bra size). The small fits perfectly, I do believe this is better for medium or short torsos as the crotch is... Right at my crotch. The fabric is a very thin lightweight gingham, very breezy for summer. The top part is elasticized so it will fit a range of body types. The deep v is very deep. I'm wearing a white bra underneath to cover, But other women may not need that. The bow on the front is completely decorative not functional. The shorts are flowy and very comfortable, but no pockets. You can definitely "pull aside" to go to the bathroom. I would not want to be unzipping this thing every time I had to go. Although, the zipper was easy to maneuver. The length is the only issue for me, but that's personal preference. These shorts seem very short and if i bend over, You might be able to see more than I'd like. Overall, I think if I iron this and style it correctly I could make it look high end.
