My house smells great, but my wallet hurts a little every time I hear that psshhh sound. Speaking of the sound, they are relatively quiet. They make a mechanical whir followed by the spray noise. It is not loud, but it is not silent either. The first time it went off while I was watching a movie, I jumped. Now I am used to the phantom sneezer in the hallway. The dispensers work exactly as advertised and haven't jammed once. They are reliable little machines. Just be prepared for the refill budget before you commit.

This Units are very Simple and Effective. (Once you get it Open) - Install 2x AA Batteries, Set your Frequency of Spay, Insert Spray Can, Close Unit - Put on Shelf / Hang on Wall… That’s it. It quietly ejects a decent spray every 5, 15, 30min on the nose - or at a touch of the button. The only issue I obviously had (because I keep mentioning it) was I had a bit of a time opening it to insert the batteries and Spray. Instructions said to depress two ovals on side as you press the to release button? I didn’t see any such marking on the sides - and the top button required a decent amount of force to finally separate and open the unit. Which was annoying when it was empty - but when there was a canister inside ….Trying to open kept giving me a palm-full of concentrated deodorizer. Which wasn’t pleasant. What is pleasant is the price. You get two of these units for less than $20! Thats quite a sweet smelling value!
