Dimensions Needlepoint Kit, Patterned Santa Claus Christmas Needlepoint, 14'' x 14''

When I received this kit, I was a little overwhelmed but as I got into it, I enjoyed it! Some of the colors on the stamped canvas were a little difficult to distinguish from others because they were similar. There was plenty of thread in all the colors and I thought the yarn was good quality. My work is definitely not perfect, but I think it turned out very well. I’m proud of it!

I haven't started the project yet but it's really cute. I'll end up making a pillow out of it for the Christmas holiday. I elected to purchase my own threads for it. I just didn't care for the threads that it came with . That's why I only gave it 4 stars. The mono canvas is soft too which I don't care for but that's a personal opinion and I didn't count that in my stars.

After taking a break from needlepoint for many years, now that I am retired I wanted to get back into it to fill my afternoons during the cold winter months ahead. This kit was just the answer. It’s complete and contains everything needed, easy to follow directions, and will be a really nice addition to my holiday decor. I would suggest that this kit is not for beginners, but rather for anyone who has at least intermediate experience at needlepoint.

This kit comes with high quality wool, the canvas is printed well and the instructions and legend are very clear. I am and intermediate talent at needlepoint but I think a beginner could also do this as well as a more seasoned person. Buy a frame, it's a large canvas. Great value.

I finished this Needlepoint very quickly because it was very cute and fun to do. I intend to make it into a pillow with a red velvet back. It will be a nice pillow.

The image was printed on the canvass very well. Instructions weren't very clear on how much thread to use, but I am a needlepoint ear so I didn't d not use the instructions.

This pattern will make a cute Christmas pillow. The directions are clear and they included plenty of yarn to complete the project.

The kit is a great price - everything's included. However the instructions are poorly written. One portion instructs me to split the yarn into thirds, another into sixths. After more than a week working on it, I see a column that instructs me to use two strands - Extremely confused by that and too far into the project to take it out. I wouldn't recommend it for beginners like me.

I bought this after reading previous reviews and thought since I've done one before, albeit a couple of decades ago, I should be fine. So yes, I am fine but the instructions for diving the yarn are general instructions and not specific to this pattern. The colours, which by the way took probably 6 hours to divide, only need to be divided by 3 thus leaving you with 2 stands for every colour except white. I find the stitch instructions a little confusing but found help on you tube. Here's my only problem: the colour code pattern is on 2 separate papers on the INSIDE of the instructions and darn it didn't I go and lose (or throw out?) the right side of the instructions. I'm hoping someone can help, I've put it in the question. I recommend taking a picture of it in case you do the same thing :)

I was very happy to receive this cute kit, which arrived on time. I started working on the kit the next day. The yarn is bad quality, it's difficult to work with, and does not look good once stitched. On the second day, the only needle they gave me broke. I recommend using a frame (not included) to keep your stitches even. I might think about purchasing better-quality yarn and just starting over.

Arrived on time and is as described and pictured. Instructions are limited but advanced needleworkers know what to do. Unfortunately needs to be worked in a frame, if not work from middle out to prevent skewed canvas. And do not forget to cover the edges to prevent ravelling. I use masking tape.
