Are these heat resistant

We have them as a backsplash, behind the electric stove too, no problem so far with any heat!

Can you use this on a floor?

I did and wished I had not, it is scratching. I could have put a varnish over top but was worried about it being slippery. Too expensive, there are better options for floor.
