My son had previously owned a larger drone but he always had to wait for his Dad to take him to the park to fly it and whilst we were there we had to be watchful to ensure he didn't fly it near anyone as it would've done some damage, so we looked for a drone that was more user friendly. This little drone is fabulous! Straight from the box he was able to fly it around the house and in the garden and the LED lights means he can fly it in the dark; so no more waiting around for Dad to get home from work! Very easy to fly and land. Has a surprisingly long flying range and he is already weaving it in and around the plants and doing flips. He has had a couple of heavy landings and crashes and the little drone seems to be pretty robust. It is very light though so I think you would lose it pretty quick if the weather was windy but at this price it wont break the bank to replace. I've already ordered another one for a friends son as my son really loves it!

My son saved allowance and worked for neighbors doing odd jobs to be able to buy this drone. Sadly, the drone malfunctioned on it's maiden flight and flew over the treeline and into a nearby pond. My son was upset but he moved on with life. The seller reached out to ask if we had a good experience and I said, "actually...no". Seller replaced at no extra cost and no questions. They didn't have to do that but they did and everyone is happy. The drone is pretty sweet and very easy to fly.

Really quite a cool little drone. The LED's are very bright and look great at night. Very simple instructions, very simple to fly, BUT does take some practice. This is my first drone and I really enjoy flying it around the house. Not a very powerful drone, so I would stay away from flying it outside if there is ANY wind at all. This drone will get carried away with any wind at all. (experience speaking) Other than that I would say the ONLY complaint I have is the battery life isn't too long. Charge time can be 20 to 40 minutes if you use a WALL CHARGER and NOT your computer like it says in the instructions. Since this is my second one I purchased (after the first one flew away with the wind) , I have 3 batteries and can fly this thing for almost 45 minutes if all batteries are charged. Fun drone, easy to control and great for anyone!

Send my son a trophy. It says kid proof unbreakable it was broken in 4 hours. The drone kind of does whatever it wants but for the most part it’s kid friendly. You will have to pair it multiple times, especially if it falls hard. So, just memorize the steps. It broke but still works if it breaks again will send it back.

I own many drones. From mini drones like the to a DJI Mavic and this performs as well as any I have paid 50% to 100% more for than this one. The LED lighting is a great effect! Very bright lights that are visible from a long distance. It has altitude hold which works OK. Doesn't hold it's height very well (drifts down if you do not give it any input), but it does work well enough to help a beginner keep it in the air. Battery life could be better. I assume the LEDs draw some power. Overall, I would recommend it, especially a beginner. The LEDs give it a WOW factor that I would bet will impress your child (and their friends!)

This was a bonus Santa gift for my 11 year old boys. We followed instructions, practiced and could never get the drone to consistently respond to controls. It would crash in to surfaces and need readjustments in the propellers. We have used other drones in the past that were not nearly as problematic. It simply does not work and we are returning it. I would exchange it in hoped it mightt be a one off/defective drone, but we actually got 2 and the issues are the same with both drones. I am not sure if there needs to be some other instructions, tutorials or whatnot, but what was provided either did not help or the drone itself needs some modifications. The item did include the instruction manual with some graphics and also included a handy cut out to place over the controls to help learn what how to use each feature on the controller. As stated above, this is disappointing especially as it is a really sharp looking drone! The colors and lights are great. It actually looks and feels pretty sturdy as well.

These were Christmas presents for my niece and grand-niece. I did not use it myself. They report that they have used them multiple time inside their house and had a lot of fun with them. It was easy to get the hang of controls and that they recharge quickly. These are pretty small and light weight, so be careful of the weather conditions before using them outside. Suggest using then in an open area outside and get plenty of practice before using around trees and other obstacles. They could easily be cracked or broken if they slam into things. I say they are very good for the price and size, as a beginning toy to learn on.

A great drone to own. I personally have had experience learning to fly many drones due to their high sensitivity This one is my favorite now. It’s too much fun to sit in my garage and do flips, rolls, and crazy maneuvers. The construction of this model is duarable with good stabilizing weight while having the most flight time from the battery. It also has has an additional battery , usb charger , manual and extra propellers. Bumping into a wall is no problem with its rubberized edges. It simply takes a slight bounce off the wall and maintains altitude for you to regain control. I haven’t skimmed the surface of what this drone can do. For this price I recommend trying this one especially if you find other drones with small flight times and cheap parts. This is the next stunt drone company to watch for.
