ESL Games for the Classroom: 101 Interactive Activities to Engage Your Students with Minimal Prep Paperback – September 11, 2018

I love the variety of activities this book provides. It is broken up into categories for speaking, listening, writing, etc. I teach kinder through 3rd grade ELLs and I am able to find activities that apply for all of them. It designates the proficiency level for each activity so that you can easily determine if your student(s) can access the activity. Many activities do not require “prep” and are an easy, engaging, powerful tool to get your students involved and learning. I was able to jump right in and begin using these activities right away. Great supplemental way to have some fun while learning.

Excellent book with an array of useful activities to put into practice in class.

Definitly the best games book I have found. I teach ENL to adults this book can be use diwth kids and adults, organized well all games are easy to set up an dolay, clear directions.

I use it all the time

I teach English to adults who have newly immigrated and most have very little or no English when we start. I had hoped this would give some practical and fun games to enhance learning skills but either the level is for much younger students or is just too advanced for their understanding. There was little I could use so far

I found it very helpful. I teach primary learners and it has many different ideas for engaging activities.

I really like this book because it doesn't spend time talking about theory we already know. It just has great activities and ideas. I actually bought it twice and gave a copy to my daughter.
