Stomodine F Dog & Cat Dental Gel, No-Brush Toothpaste for Plaque, 30 ml

I have a frenchie with smelly teeth - been giving mixed messages at the vet should he go under to get a tooth out. Using this made a huge difference to his breath so must have killed bad bacteria. Do have to use every so often for several days.

The gel is ok my little dog has ulcerated gums at the moment and the gel is helping him he doesn't paw as much thank you

If your dog has gingivitis this product is very useful at reducing the inflammation and redness to the gums. It leaves a coating over the gums and teeth to protect them. It will not remove plaque that is already there but is really good for plaque prevention. It is a product that my vets recommend and sell. It's cheaper on Amazon though. My dog seems to like the flavour of this which is a bonus. It's very easy to apply directly from the tube straight into the teeth for dogs that don't like having there teeth cleaned.

This product was recommended by my vet following the removal of 9 teeth from my Shih Tzu, as it does not need the use of a toothbrush. Small dogs are notorious for being difficult to clean their teeth and mine is no exception. This product allows you to insert around the gum line. He likes the flavour but he doesn’t like the tube inserting into his mouth, although it is still early days yet. I hope his tolerance will improve with time but, if not, I will continue with my finger brush. I have yet to see any improvement in breath quality as pre- treatment his breath was much better. His teeth are lovely and white at the moment and I am hoping I can keep them that way with this product. Bearing this in mind, using the tube may mean that a significant amount may be wasted, leaving some in the tube. The size of the tube comes as a shock as it is very small and will be lucky to last 2 weeks let alone a month, which makes this product extremely expensive. It will only be value for money if it keeps his teeth clean and I am able to use it. The jury is out for the moment.

This item came highly recommended by vet so easy to use and doesn’t put any stress on my dog , he seems to like the smell and taste. Overall very happy with the results.

It is a good product, it does work. But it is too difficult to clean a cats teeth like you would need to in order to use the product. You will need a cat that stays still and is very well behaved.

Unsere Tierärztin hat uns Stomodine F empfohlen, weil unsere Katze Zahnfleischprobleme hatte. Anfangs war ich unsicher, ob sie sich das gefallen lässt – aber überraschenderweise lässt sie die Anwendung relativ gut über sich ergehen. Die Paste lässt sich gut dosieren und riecht kaum – ideal für sensible Tiere. Schon nach ein paar Tagen war eine Besserung sichtbar: weniger Rötung am Zahnfleisch und frischerer Atem. Sie scheint es auch gut zu vertragen, keine Nebenwirkungen bisher. Tipp: Am besten ganz ruhig und sanft auftragen – mit Geduld klappt es. Fazit: Sehr gutes Produkt zur Unterstützung der Zahngesundheit – ich kaufe es wieder!

Esto me ayudo muchisimo para ayudar con la molestia de las encias de mi perrita (gingivitis). Antes de ponerselo le molestaba para comer y luego de ponerle el gel, se notaba que le aliviaba y podia comer mejor. Ojo, al final siempre hay que hacerles limpieza dental
