Use features like bookmarks, note taking and highlighting while reading The Ghost in Apartment 2R. Review: Fun read! Great ending - Thank you to the publisher for providing a copy to #collabookation. All Danny has ever wanted was a room to himself. His parents always promised him that he could have his brother's room once he went away to college. However, money is tight and Danny's family needs to rent the room out to earn some extra income. Little do they know that the room is haunted. Through some research, Danny and his friends work to see if they can figure out who the ghost is. Can they identify the ghost and put it to rest? This book isnt the typical style that I pick up to read but I really enjoyed it and love how it wrapped up. I also loved the diverse neighborhood and the setting of where the story took place. I feel like the author did a wonderful job describing it and I could sense how it looked and felt. Fast read with short chapters! Recommend for 6th grade and up Review: MUST READ!!!! - Such a page turner! I enjoyed every minute of it! Worthy of any book shelf.

Boring beyond belief
What is amazing about this book isn't that some loser of a writer produced this excruciatingly, unendingly boring material, it's that a (should be) respected publisher with professional editors actually thought this load was worthy of publication. But then, of course, the author did plenty of pandering to the holy idol of diversity. Unending details that have little or nothing to do with the (weak) plot, pathetic tour-bookish description of Brooklyn (obviously the author's one and only center of his universe), and annoying/forgettable/unnecessary characters are the highlights of this novel. Even the paranormal aspect of the book was cliché, unimaginative, and sadly predictable (i.e., BORING!). I had great hopes this would have been a pleasant, interesting read, but I was sorely disappointed.

Creepy ghost story set in Brooklyn
Superb ghost story set in Brooklyn with just the right amount of creepiness for middle graders. Once Danny's older brother goes to college, it appears a ghost has moved in and it's up to Danny and his friends plus a few wiser family members to unravel the truth. Interesting historical content. Difficult to put down. Highly recommend!

Progressiveness way too forced
Within the first few paragraphs, a lesbian couple is introduced just because. No real reason other than diversity points. Another gay couple later on. Good multicultural characters/families that reflect beautiful Brooklyn, but everything else just seems so forced. I rolled my eyes so many times because nothing had a point relevant to the story.
