Quality of the video
I recently ordered UNILOOK POE camera for replacement. The compatibility of this new camera with my existing POE camera system was acceptable . It functions perfectly, operating as a true plug-and-play device. The image quality is crystal clear. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product.

Picture Quality
Not bad. Super sharp picture quality. From what I have currently. It has Metal body. Can be adjusted key included. I like the power indicator light at the connection. At least you can tell if camera has power or not. Comes with manual little warning sticker. Just plug and play. Very easy setup.

Excellent Video Quality, Questionable Certification
First off, the video quality on this camera is great. You can pull a 4k stream at 20fps, which is very good. If you drop the resolution setting, you can go up to 30fps, depending on which resolution you go with. That's awesome. I'm dumping the video into Synology Surveillance Station for recording, which is my standard test bed. The camera was automatically detected and easily added by SS. Pulling video from there is outside the scope of this review. The built-in LED lights are pretty bright, but they fall off after a bit of distance, so I have them disabled and am using the IR lights for night time recording. Where I have a question or concern is regarding the 'NDAA complaint' statement on the ad. The reason I'm questioning that is within about 2 seconds of plugging it into my network, my anti-malware software flagged a malicious network connection attempt. Coincidence? I'm not sure I believe in them. I unplugged it, waited, and plugged it back in, and the flag didn't return. So, I'm curious if there was a false-positive on it, or if it was actually something in the camera that tried to go out to a malicious website on the first boot (only), that got blocked. Hard to say. Hence the drop of 1 star. At this point, I have it isolated, where it's only talking to my SS box, and there it will stay for the time being. I tend to be overly cautious on IoT devices being connected to my home network, owing to the fact that these devices can be sniffing traffic on your network and sending that information to bad actors. Other than the possible malware built in, this is a really solid camera.

The build quality left a very positive impression on me!
I tested this 4K Bullet PoE IP outdoor camera and found it to be a very comprehensive option for anyone looking to monitor their home, business, garage, yard, or entryway with much clearer and more reliable imagery. In my experience, this type of camera proves highly useful for monitoring areas where you need to capture important details—such as faces, license plates, movement near a door, or activity along the property perimeter. The build quality left a very positive impression on me; it feels solid, well-constructed, and ready for outdoor installation. The housing conveys a sense of durability and security—qualities I consider essential for a camera that will be exposed to sun, rain, or dust. In terms of price-to-quality ratio, I believe this is a very smart purchase if you are looking for a camera with good resolution and features that genuinely enhance daily surveillance. To me, when a model offers 8MP resolution, color night vision, human and vehicle detection, plus audio capabilities and a microSD card slot, it feels like a device that truly justifies the investment. I don't view it as a basic camera, but rather as an option designed for those seeking a more serious and practical surveillance system; in that sense, I feel it offers excellent value for the features included. I liked the style and design, as it possesses that clean, professional aesthetic one expects from a modern security camera. The "bullet" form factor strikes me as highly practical for outdoor use; it conveys a clear visual sense of active surveillance while also being convenient for aiming at entryways, walls, corridors, or parking areas. It didn't feel bulky or cumbersome, yet it was robust enough to inspire confidence. Overall, it looks like a device engineered to perform reliably and blend in seamlessly within either a residential or commercial setting.

loves it
Alright so as someone whose installed probably 30+ PoE cameras over the years, this UNILOOK is solid. The 8MP sensor gives you actualy usable 4K footage, not that upscaled garbage some companys try to pass off. AI detection works surprisingly well - cuts down on false alerts from tree branches and shadows, focuses on actual humans and vehicles. The 100ft color night vision is legit, I tested it against my old IR-only cameras and the difference is massive for identifying details. PoE means one cable for power and data which makes installation way cleaner than wireless junk. The 2.8mm lens gives you a nice wide field of view without too much fisheye distortion. Micro SD slot up to 512GB is clutch for local recording incase your NVR goes down. Build quality feels weatherproof, IP66 rated. Only gripe is the interface could be more intuitive but once you dial in the settings its set-and-forget. For the price point your getting features that used to cost twice as much a few years ago. If your building out a security system and want 4K without spending $300 per camera, this is a smart choice.

good POE camera, works with BlueIris!
This is a good static POE cam that can feed into BlueIris via ONVIF, Scanning in BlueIris picked it right up and it was fairly easy to configure. Motion triggers work well too. I have this on a side yard or field so there's not much to look at and anything that triggers the motion alert is likely an animal. So far we have spotted deer, raccoons and even a skunk! I only mention the animals to illustrate that this camera has a quite nice picture and can pick up on movement on smaller animals and objects. Coming from 4MP cameras, this is a better picture though it probably is taking up more bandwidth to do so. I haven't noticed any extra network lag from that. A good camera at around $50.

Very solid security camera
This camera feels well built and produces a clear, detailed image that is a noticeable step up from lower-resolution models. The PoE setup helps keep installation clean, and once connected it performs reliably with stable video output. The housing feels durable enough for outdoor use, and the image quality holds up well in both daylight and lower-light conditions. It is a strong option for anyone building or expanding a wired security system. Good quality and very dependable performance overall.

Great picture and plays nicely with Blue Iris
Pros: The picture quality is really good, and the metal body makes it feel heavy duty. It works well with Blue Iris, and the mounting options give you a lot of flexibility. Keep in mind this is POE. Cons: The app is fine but could be a better experience. Also, 6MP is a slightly odd resolution, though it hasn’t been a problem. The build quality stood out right away because it doesn’t feel like a lightweight plastic camera. Once I got it set up, the image looked sharp and clean, and it’s been doing what I want without needing constant attention. I mainly use it through Blue Iris and it’s been a good match for that setup. The included app works if you need it, but it feels more basic than I’d prefer, and I wouldn’t buy it for the app alone. Overall, if you want a sturdy camera with a great image and solid mounting options, this one has worked out well for me.
